We have a new reality show starting on BBC1 Tues night called The Traitors which looks quite interesting. I will definitely give it a try. I notice they are starting it just as I'm a Celeb..... has ended. 😉

As long as Wilf doesn’t win I don’t care I don’t like him AT ALL Never like him and didn’t trust him after he threw Allysa under the bus I took to Amanda and wanted her to win

I actually liked Maddy although I know most of you didn’t BUT she was right about Wilf from day1 however loud Hannah talked her down she’s in for a shock when she finds how poor her judgements been
I think out of those left I d prefer Kieron to win although his not a particularly big character

Aveline Thu 22-Dec-22 09:09:11

I suspect that Keiran might win. Tonight's episode will be a cracker.
It's really funny hearing all their theories about each other and reasons for why they might be traitors. Usually completely wrong but deeply held.

It's going to be an exciting final - can't wait to see how it turns out! I don't particularly like Wilf but he has done well in the challenges and played this game really well. However I would have loved to see Amanda win, as she played so well too!

He has no qualms about throwing the other traitors under the bus, so it will probably depend on who is convinced by Wilf and Kieran in tonight's show.

Agreed there are some people who seem to have trusted others to a huge degree. Hannah trusts Wilf. Aaron trusted Amanda and now trusts Wilf, so his instincts are way out! Both those will be gutted, but they should remember the nature of the game is to cheat and deceive. It's like the ultimate murder mystery game. Reminds me of Cluedo but way more sophisticated.

Just caught the end of Jeremy Vine today and there was a chat about the programme (last item): www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m001g1r7

Parsley3 Thu 22-Dec-22 16:13:57

I have no idea how they will decide who has won. It is all very mysterious.

BlueBelle Thu 22-Dec-22 16:25:42

None of you liked Maddy but she had Wilf sussed from the very beginning and no one listened to her
I hope they remember that when they find out he’s a traitor

Chestnut Thu 22-Dec-22 16:52:14

I imagine the contestants are sitting at home glued to their TV because it may be the first time they've seen the finished programme. They may even be reading this thread!

kissngate Thu 22-Dec-22 16:57:36

They decide themselves who wins. It will get down to 3 likely to be Hannah, Meryl and Will or Kieran. If they all think they are Faithful they can stop the game and agree to split the money. However a Traitor will get the money if the F are wrong. Will can manipulate H&M and unless H changes her view on W, he is likely to take it all. There has to be 2 or more at the Round Table when the game ends. If only F remain they share the money.

Above post was directed @ Parsley3.

Maddy thought it was Wilf but for the wrong reasons. She was sure he was in league with Aaron.
Can't wait till tonight. Twists and turns I bet!

foxie48 Thu 22-Dec-22 17:21:09

There are 5 contestants ATM, if they flush out one of the traitors eg Keiren then I think Will will persuade them to end the game and he will get the money. I don't think they are aware that there are 2 traitors left.

Juicywords Thu 22-Dec-22 18:03:57

I’m sure the Faithfuls think only 1 traitor remains. So if Kieron or Will are found out , the other one will probably win as they’ll most likely stop the game.

Parsley3 Thu 22-Dec-22 19:22:21

Thanks kissngate. The odds are against the faithful at the moment.

BlueBelle Thu 22-Dec-22 22:02:03

Well well well
That was a very disingenuous speech from someone who would have killed their grandmother for the money

Lyndylou Thu 22-Dec-22 22:08:36

I thought that was an excellent ending, I had been sure Wilf would win, but he overplayed his hand at the end.

Visgir1 Thu 22-Dec-22 22:17:15

What a fantastic programme, loved it. Can't remember the last time I shouted at the TV, I was so involved.
Glad Wilf got dumped. Well done Keiran you played it well in the end.
And Aaron 's mum got her money.

BlueBelle Thu 22-Dec-22 22:34:39

I agree Visgirl I was shouting at the tv and I m glad Keiron said what he did and got them all thinking but I think Wilf turning it round like he was thrilled at losing when we know he was furious shows what a two faced git he was (is) I d be aware of him in real life he d throw anyone under the bus

nanaK54 Thu 22-Dec-22 22:40:23

Excellent ending, Wilf should not have issued that ultimatum

lixy Thu 22-Dec-22 22:40:25

I'm so glad for Hannah, Meryl and Aaron's mum - well played all of them.
I wonder if there'll be a reunion like at the end of the Bake Off - that would be worth being a fly on the wall for!

I really don't see it like that. It's like saying that someone who wins at chess is a two faced git for manoeuvring the game so that their opponent lost.

In real life, someone who told a friend they would stand by them then didn't would be a bad person, but this was a game where the point was to win. Plus, the traitors were randomly chosen - what were they meant to do? The only alternative to playing to win would be to spoil the game, and there is probably something in the contract to prevent them from doing that.

lixy Thu 22-Dec-22 22:48:46

I was glad Kieron did what he did at the end. I do think Wilf was a really good 'Traitor' and played the game very well.

Trouble is that I would find it very hard to trust him at all should I ever meet him in real life having watched that amazing performance. I know actors play 'baddies' but this was sustained manipulation.

I thought Claudia W was excellent.

Oreo Thu 22-Dec-22 22:56:44

Doodledog👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Wilf had to do what he had to do BlueBelle a bit much to call him a twofaced git! In fact thinking about it, it’s way too much.
lixy he didn’t play the game as well as Amanda, but better than Alyssa.
Although it was a cracking final and three good people won the money, I think it was iffy of the game producers to allow
Kieran to tell the others that that Wilf’s name was a parting gift.
Both Alyssa and Amanda accepted the verdict with good grace.
Kieran was lousy as a traitor and left with bad grace.
Can’t wait for the next Traitors, hope it’s not too long.

Amanda is my favourite and I really thought she had it in the bag until that fatal mistake. I think she may have blown it. My second favourite is Aaron. Yes I know he cried but he has also impressed me once or twice on the challenges being quite resourceful and brave. For a 24 year old he is fairly sensible.

For some reason I'm not keen on Andrea, she just seems a bit needy and doesn't seem to contribute, just hangs onto the others.

👍🏻

BlueBelle Thu 22-Dec-22 23:07:27

No I still see Wilf as two faced, as all the way through he was saying how he had to win and he would throw anyone under the bus to win, he stabbed all three of the other traitors in the back to win so yes he played a blinder and did really well BUT and here’s my but at the very end he pretended and this is where I find him totally lacking he pretended he was thrilled they d caught him out and he was so pleased they d won the money I didn’t like that at all
