So have switched onto Netflix - wanted to see for myself what the 'fuss' is all about as many diverse opinions on this couple on here and other social platforms ...as well as the media with 'experts' who state this and that etc etc...

Yay! Another person I don't recognise telling me my job

I also have training in SEN and emotional support

And I'm not interested in arguing, it's boring

The world and his wife knows how to teach better than teachers. Just as well the students make it worthwhile, eh VS?

Doubt GransNet can now sink any lower, the child is 4 years old,

Totally agree .appalling.

just like when he fidgeted and pulled faces at some long do during the jubilee …100% normal small child behaviour.

eazybee Thu 15-Dec-22 09:48:32

No. Knowledge and experience.
Trained in education for four years, taught for forty, worked as a SENCO for fifteen.

This is the first time I have read this thread. I didn’t realise people were watching this Netflix programme.

lemsip Thu 15-Dec-22 10:13:27

This thread is no longer on the Netflix programme, it's on the Cambridge children!

GagaJo Thu 15-Dec-22 10:44:25

Back to Netflix then. I started watching it. I'm not a H&M fan, but I'm not a hater either.

As I suspected, I was bored by it. I think it was made for an American audience. Too schmaltzy for me.

Chestnut Thu 15-Dec-22 11:36:57

I also started watching it but was bored senseless. It was all me me me sloppy romanticism. I managed 30 mins but really can't cope with any more. I may jump to episode 6 and try again.

The latest news is that the LIES are still coming thick and fast, just can't keep up with them!

volver Thu 15-Dec-22 11:44:34

I've not been watching (you won't be surprised to learn). But I suppose I'll now understand when somebody says "they're all over the media"

But the BBC front page has got a blow-by-blow account of what's going on, and I'm loving it. Watching the RF imploding before our very eyes... 🥳

Wow, he's angry.

Cute children.

Am I allowed to say that?

25Avalon Thu 15-Dec-22 11:56:47

Don’t see why not Volver. If only they could go away and be happy with what they’ve got. Just so much anger.

Guardian too. Some interesting stuff about William. Not surprised he's got a temper tho. Charles is infamous for his.

One comment I read somewhere got it spot on. The RF really should have harnessed the power of MMs interacial status. Would have done their public image (which is suffering under the accusations of racism) a power of good. Such a good resource wasted due to their refusal of any change.

Your bile leaps off the page but I hate to disappoint you but it will take a hell of a lot more than this pair to bring down the monarchy.

Calendargirl Thu 15-Dec-22 12:25:50

I didn’t realise the RF were suffering under the accusations of racism before Meghan appeared on the scene.

GagaJo Thu 15-Dec-22 12:27:49

Ah, so their racism is her fault too now?

What about world peace and climate change?

Calendargirl Thu 15-Dec-22 12:28:58

And I agree with tickingbird, don’t think ‘the RF are imploding before our very eyes’.

🤔

Funny, that's exactly what I said upthread. To the person who said this was an attack in the fabric of society and our way of life. Seems that whether something is deemed to be true or not depends on who says it.

(And the Royal Family isn't the Monarchy.)

eazybee Thu 15-Dec-22 12:39:32

The royal family aren't imploding but H&M are.

The only thing I would like to see is Harry removed from the line of succession, but I don't know if that is possible.

Somebody upthread got savaged for saying they liked Louis.(I think it was Louis)

Can't say anything these days in case someone is offended.

(sarcasm emoji)

Glorianny Thu 15-Dec-22 12:42:03

VioletSky some of the TAs I worked with had more knowledge of, and training in, Special Ed than many of the teachers. They are a much underrated and very valuable profession.

I speak as a teacher here. I have been lucky enough to be supported by some TAs who literally saved my bacon in the classroom. Couldn't have coped without them. And yes, as Glorianny says, some of them knew a hell of a lot more about SEN provision and behaviour management than me.

I see you're one of the people who believes the lies. The RF did try to help M integrate - she didn't want to. When Charles revokes the NDAs of the Palace staff members, they will be able to put the record straight according to the leaks thus far.

Nobody “got savaged” as you put it - twisting posts again Volver.

The poster concerned was pulled up on blatant lies for saying Louis’ mother was gripping his wrist, not holding his hand. Also described him as “Troublemaker!!!!” He’s 4!

An attack may or may not be successful. It may be deemed to be an attack on our monarchy/royal family/fabric of society but that doesn't mean this will 'bring down' the monarchy.
