Well I'm still trying to figure Meghan out. Harry is easy to read and he is obviously besotted with Meghan, but she sometimes comes across as cleverly maneuvering the show.
House about to go on the market. Any useful tips?
GNHQ have commented on this thread. Read here.
So have switched onto Netflix - wanted to see for myself what the 'fuss' is all about as many diverse opinions on this couple on here and other social platforms ...as well as the media with 'experts' who state this and that etc etc...

So you won't understand how she explained about her experience of curtseying which made her act in the way she did? She was laughing at herself but presumably that's not allowed either.
She wasn’t laughing at herself!! FGS! She was mocking the Queen and the institution that she’s milked for all it’s worth.I found that quite shocking. She was mocking the late Queen at having to curtsy to her. Harry looked embarrassed and so he should be. He thinks she’s like his late mother FGS. Diana would never have mocked the RF. She would be utterly appalled at the way the 2 of them are behaving, in particular the way Harry is behaving.
No she wasn't. She was laughing at the way she curtsied based on what she knew of curtseying from what she experienced in the USA. As for Harry looking embarrassed, he listened to her and then he smiled at her. There was no criticism of the RF in the first three episodes beyond the mention of unintentional bias when it comes to racism.

I didn't say that Meghan said she is as a survivor of DV. The lady who was in conversation with the late Queens lady In waiting, did say that Meghan was certainly a survivor of DV by her in laws. Would that include the Queen who was an in law?
You said, I find it very hard to believe that her in laws committed domestic violence towards her, surely not the Queen?. No mention of the Lady in Waiting so you'll forgive me if I misunderstood what you didn't say. However, I don't think the Queen would have abused Meghan at all nor do I think there have been accusations of it by the hated couple.

Just her biased opinion Jaberwok.
Like people have an opinion on Meghan’s behaviour.
Just lots of opinions not facts. Allow one, allow all?
It is a very well-produced show.
Well done H and A.
Meghan was treated appallingly by the British press - go back over the headlines and see what was said. Of course she wishes to set the record straight; and of course neither of them want to face those risks again.
I am glad that they have found themselves a new home where they can bring up their children.
The RF is grossly abnormal - curtsey to your fiance's grandmother - what the heck? Do we need this? Really?
To those who say Harry is in the wrong to take the benefits of being born into the royal family, and then walk away, I would say - what are those benefits? Well - he has never had to worry where his next meal is coming from .... but that's about it. He lived in the eye of the press from birth, was sent to Eton and brought up in a bubble; his parents' relationship was toxic; his parents divorced with rancour; his mother died in dreadful traumatic circumstances, he had to bow to his own grandmother. Such a twisted upbringing.
He has money of course which he has inherited mainly from his mother; and his wife probably has a fair bit stashed away after her successful career. So they could lie back and soak up the good life. But that is not what they do - they make an attempt to use their high profile to champion causes that most of us would endorse.
I think they were right to step back and put this toxic family behind them. There is no way I would have wanted a child of mine to be brought up under such circumstances.
As to the press ..... how to have a free press whilst also curbing their excesses? I do not know what the answer is. I just know that the gutter press is one of the things that shames us all.
I thought they were slighting the RF of being wealthy through slavery and that they (RF) are racist because there are still paintings and statues, in the same vein in B. P.
Ngozi Fulani is a woman who runs a charity dealing with women who suffer domestic violence, and wrote in a tweet in March 2021 that: 'according to clear definition it seems that Meghan is a survivor of DV from her in-laws.'
What exactly her definition of domestic violence is is not explicit but it seems a dangerous 'opinion' to have posted.

When the Queen Mother passed away in 2002, aged 101, the brothers had £14million to split between them, but as agreed the younger Wales brother did better out of the deal
When Harry turned 30 in 2014, he reportedly received more than £10 million from his mother’s estate
And, as you say, Meghan was wealthy in her own right.
Plus a substantial allowance from Harry's father, now ceased.
A very substantial amount of wealth which most young people could only dream of.
And yes, they can and do support worthy causes.
So why did they need to make these tacky deals with Oprah, Netflix, etc turning themselves into a reality TV show?

Well who was Meghan referring to when she says 'they were out to destroy me'?

I'd say it was to bring in the megabucks to keep Meghan in the lifestyle she clearly wants. They have no other way of earning so much money as they have no particular talent.
Can’t be stuffed watching it but it is interesting to read the comments. Makes me think I haven’t missed anything.

The press and social media.
They needed to make this series to put their side of the story , as the gutter press and gossip mags are intent on printing mountains of critical stuff about them - look at todays toxic headlines for an example. If the press didn’t pursue them and people lap it up, they wouldn’t be doing all this or being paid megabucks if there was no interest. The whole Rf is one big soap opera with people wading in with their interpretation of every little look or comment. You’ve only got to wade through the comments on here with people claiming to know what their motivations are in every action. Why curtesy to anyone in this day and age, especially your relative!
The D mail was criticising M for wearing white fgs. If the press didn’t print the stuff and people didn’t read it then they would be able to keep out of the limelight.

I’ve said before, like it or not Meghan did well from playing a major role in a long running successful series. Not an Oscar winner but a successful career nonetheless. Why is this constantly ignored or sneered at ?
Fair enough what they are doing now can be debated (debated ?!) but British fair play eh ? Credit where it’s due.
(Not a m and h fan…yet again)
I saw about ten minutes of this programme. Apart from being bored solid I didn't think any of it was new or authentic. They could have had everything they say they wanted here but for some people everything is not enough.

Probably Gransnet
Harry did say that their lives, their relationship, just wouldn't survive in "his world" for many reasons. Fair enough, they gave it a go, and after 2 years decided to make the break, (although I do believe they had been planning it much earlier). They have now been almost 3 years in "her world" and they appear to be very happy with their decision, im pleased for them it worked. So why the need to constantly rehash all the stuff that caused them untold grief and why all the negativity? It has to be for the money and, in Meghan's case, for the fame.
They needed to make this series to put their side of the story.
What again? And how many more times?
Those who watched it as I did, are saying on here there was nothing new, nothing we didn't already know about their feelings. I don't see the need to tell the world over and over again. It starts to become tiresome.
I'm still flummoxed by the people who say there's nothing new to say, why don't they just keep quiet etc.
Then get up and watch a TV program at 8am, pre-order Harry's book from the library and know all the minute details of M&H 's lives.
It's a mystery to me.
I haven’t watched it.I haven’t needed to as it’s all over the media, the tv and the blogs. Sadly, they are a bitter couple who thought they could become more popular or equal to William and Kate and couldn’t bear it when they found out that wasn’t going to happen. They are very divisive characters, full of bitterness and envy. People will divide into two camps, those who believe every word they say and others who know there are two sides to every story and we only ever hear one. Rather like on these message boards about them people have black and white views. She mocked his grandmother with her curtesy segment, described it as being in medieval times, he looked awkward, she gave him a sly side eye one she’d finished and he then smirked. Sarah Ferguson apparently told her what to do and how to curtesy…at least that is what Meghan claimed in previous interviews. As always with them, who knows.
Curtsey.
Three camps.
You've forgotten those who are completely bamboozled by the whole obsessive reaction.

Nice to see you for the first time I believe on this thread volver the minute I made my comment on it. Anyway, I'll answer, I watch Strictly, Celebrity Jungle, H & M, Eastenders etc .... there's nothing new to say about any of them really, same old same old, but I kniw I do say stuff.
I do 2 days supply in school, so a bit of some old, same old keeps me sane and happy. Actually I've got Love Actually lined up to watch this afternoon for the 20th time and I am happy to comment on it of others are doing so.
At least it is uplifting and funny! ❤️
Four camps.
The ever-growing group made up of people who think I'm just waiting for them to post so I can comment on them.
And they say Meghan is obsessed with her own importance. 🤣
