In particular, the Christmas Day edition.

Well, not much else to watch really.

Is it time the residents of Nonnatus House moved on?

Matthew had a very nice singing voice.

Trixie seemed to be wearing an outfit made of bacofoil at the end.

Exactly what I thought, Merlotgran.

Corny, trite, sentimental tosh..... whatever, I still enjoy it grin. I haven't watched any of the soaps in probably 10-15 years but don't decry those who still enjoy them. Each to their own, enjoy the escapism that suits you best!

Two more series to come. 😑

I enjoy 60 minutes of escapism on a Sunday evening once I have cleared up the dinner debris.

I know it’s corny, but it suits me.

I still have it to watch, as I tuned in to Endeavour.

Me too Calendargirl.

I do enjoy it every week although I found last night’s car accident scene rather perplexing. Very unrealistic that a doctor and nurse would make no attempt to resuscitate someone they’d found in cardiac arrest as a result of an accident just seconds earlier. At the very least they could have performed CPR and kept the mother and baby’s circulation going till an ambulance arrived. Instead they left the mother’s heart stopped and performed a dramatic c.section in the middle of the road 🤷‍♀️

It’s tosh but easy viewing, totally unrealistic, but I’ll continue to watch it and enjoy!

It’s my Sunday night indulgence and I love it, daft as it is. Sister Monica Joan is getting on my wick now though, and I can’t say I’d be sorry to see her go gentle into that good night. She seems to threaten to do so at least twice a series.

Aveline Mon 27-Feb-23 11:24:48

It's that wet doctor I can't stand!

As is usual for me, I've enjoyed this latest series. I'm pleased that there will be another, (2?), series to look forward to.

I agree about Sister Monica, often at death’s door, but rallying round just in time.
