After the dross that’s been on offer over Christmas, I find myself looking forward to the return of Call The Midwife and Happy Valley.

Does that make me a sad person?

I don’t have Netflix or similar, and although it’s brought up every Christmas how poor the tv has been, I honestly feel 2022 has taken the biscuit.

I have been watching old Miss Marples most nights, even though I know the scripts well enough to be one of the cast, just for something to view.

My DH loves Bangers and Cash. I think he has watched every one.

MrOops and his mate are thinking of mounting an expedition to one of their auctions, I’ll have to go with them to prevent them spending money. They can look but not buy.

Yes definitely go with them! I can't believe how much some of the cars go for. A few weeks ago there was a man who even had some in his house 😂😂😂 (obvs he had a very large house) ... but no wife!

The tribute to Sondheim was an absolute highlight for me. Quite wonderful.

We did a binge watch of Happy Valley over Christmas in readiness for the new series
