Disappointed for Amanda and Gio. I was really enjoying their performances. It’ll be interesting to see how they rearrange the show. I can’t clearly remember now how they’ve dealt with similar circumstances in the past when dancers have dropped out due to injury or whatever reason.

amanda's partner Jonathan Goodwin was paralysed from waist down, 6 months ago while performing a stunt on americas got talent so is in a wheel chair at side of stage as she dances . I'm sure that must affect her decision to quit. very tough.

On his own for me. Giovanni has solos already choreographed from his touring show, so it wouldn't take much.

Strictly is on at 6.40 pm this evening, and I notice that on Channel 5 at 8.25pm there's a programme "Strictly Come Dancing's Greatest Moments" going right back to the original "Come Dancing" (which I used to watch in black and white with my Mum as a child).

I don't know what that will be like, but will give it a try.

Just thinking out loud, (as you do over a cup of coffee), I'm guessing by Blackpool weekend they have to be left with the right number of couples, because these are also the ones who go on tour?? So somewhere will we have a non elimination week now Amanda has left?

OMG! Angela S and Carlos - absolutely amazing choreography!

Angela S was very balletic, it suited her.
I agree with Craig about the strange bourrées in the middle?

It was theatrical and dramatic and not what I expected, so I loved it (also the music!)

It’s difficult going first, but I thought Angela S’s dance was worth more 9’s.

I did too TillyTrotter. I am beginning to think the judges constantly under-mark her.

Zara and Graz’s dance and costumes were so much fun!
I hope she can avoid the dance-off tonight.
No wonder her confidence is not high - she has been in the dance-off so many times.

I'm not a Halloween fan in general, but as a long time fan of Strictly I love to see all the costumes & make up!
Enjoying this week so far.

I'm a bore because I really don't like Halloween week.

I dislike the weird costumes.
