I'm not a Halloween fan in general, but as a long time fan of Strictly I love to see all the costumes & make up!

Layton is near perfect, but I’ll not vote for him this week.

If Shirley feels Layton is several points off being perfect then she really shouldn't give him 9.

I often think the Judges' comments don't match the scores they give.

I can't vote for Layton, though, because of all the reasons given before.

I like Lauren's hair when it's longer. It really suits her.

I don’t get all the enormous praise for Angela Rippon, too much sitting on the bench for one thing.
Overmarked in my opinion.

Good story-telling from Angela R and Kai, and some lovely swivels..... but 9 from Craig?????

Angela R definitely overmarked I found it quite dull for a Charleston. .

Her swivels were good, I agree, but as Sara said, lots of sitting down, filling up time not doing fast Charleston.

Enjoyed Nigel and Katya's Cha Cha even though Shirley didn't.

As she pointed out Layton's mistakes and still gave him a 9, I'm waiting for a 9 for Nigel !!

I had a tear in my eye watching Angela Rippon, she was so light and swivelly and joyful to watch.

I was sorry about the seated bit because it emphasised that she couldn't have managed a whole Charlestown but well done her!!

I noticed that Ellie has some nasty bruises on her arms, Vito is obviously working her hard too. She was very good though.

How could Ellie and Vito not get 4 x 10s for that routine, especially after the Judges' comments?

I am thinking that Ellie could take the glitterball. As someone said last week, she can dance any dance she's given.
