Layton did a great job, very difficult dance.

It's nice to see Layton not wearing drag. I shall need to rewatch his Paso a few more times. Nikita is a great choreographer.

It probably was pergect, but he still revolts me.

I prefer Patrick Swayze. Bobby was too loose.

No one’s fault, but tonight’s show feels a bit ‘last minute’ to fill in gaps.

Also thought too many extra dancers.

Why?

That DD dance has been done before on the Show - and better - by Louis Smith and Flavia Cacacia.

On tonight’s performances Bobby,
and Annabel were the weakest IMO (although there is no Vote).

Bobby just didn't pull that off, I'm afraid.

I felt the whole show tonight has been a dissapointment.
Totally underwhelming, sadly.

The opening dances weren't very interesting and the one with the toppers and sparkly suits needed a fixed camera position in my opinion. We needed to see (and enjoy) the shapes of the formation dancing.
It's the formality of it that makes it so great to watch. When the camera switches and swirls about it's harder to identify rows, pairs mirroring etc.

Just watched the Louis Smith/Flavia version of Dirty Dancing on YouTube. They really nailed the lift.

Anyway, I can’t see how anyone could deny what a fantastic dancer Layton is.

Agree the set was a bit busy for Ellie but she was as good as ever.

We thought one of the highlights was the Fisherman’s Friends song. I think Ellie deserves to win, although the standard this year is really good.

What a strange show tonight and poor Katya.

Ellie and Vito were superb as usual but I also agree that the set was a bit busy.

Maybe in future on this week there could be 2 dances from each couple and it would “pad the show out”?
Tonight seemed to be over before it had hardly got started.

Didn’t they used to do two dances in the later stages of the show ?

Layton is brilliant. So enjoyable to watch. Many of the other contestants have dance experience.

So why does he revolt you, eazybee?

I think we underestimate the amount of hatred Layton has had to put up with on social media. Say what you like, but he has always carried on and given of his best.
