re the nazis and switzerland, can i ask a simple question.
i have heard that the nazis left switzerland alone because it had so many secret bank accounts etc, ie they had money there themselves.
but they could easily have overrun switzerland's defences and taken over the whole country, including all banks and all the money, everyone's.
why didn't they.

Haven't watched the programme so haven't seen her close up yet but I admire her. She's 90 and seems to have great stamina and a real zest for life she also seems to be really on the ball and to have what are probably called old fashioned values. She knows she's famous and always dresses for that part and is one of the last real film stars.

Libellous? Goodness me. There are 100s of articles and documents that say exactly this. Johnson was Foreign Secretary at the time, and was officially told NOT to go, and never had clearance. He was so drunk and dishevelled even the next day! Soon after Lebedev was given a seat in the House of Lords!

I totally get that you are not interested in what Joan Collins, who WAS THERE with him- has to say. But it is directly linked to her, and as said, many would like to know more about what happened there and Johnson's behaviour and state. I do- and I can assure many others do too. And the UK's security, at a very delicate time for the country.

So sad to see a woman who has made her fortune out of being 'sexy' still has to keep it up at 90. She is not a 'real' 90 year old, and trying to pretend she is is doing women a disservice. Makes us believe we can achieve what she has, without the resources for the face lifts and extensive cosmetic procedures. Even old women (us) are criticising her because her age is becoming undeniable. Why can't we just enjoy who we are as we age, we don't need role models like Joanie.

Love Joan Collins,She may wear too much make up but has still kept herself one classy lady. Love listening to her . No mutton dressed as lamb . Has a lovely husband. Enjoy her interviews.

You must be too young to know that her film career began in the 50s Lesley. And you obviously haven’t seen enough of her acting to appreciate why she has been famous for so long.

I haven't seen the interview, and don't fancy watching it, but I too don't see the fascination with Joan Collins. She is not, in my opinion, a good actress, always is 'Joan Collins' whatever the role. I know a lady who is 90, very slim, always hair done, nails manicured, well dressed, but no trowelled on make up, no wigs, and frankly, she looks a lot better than JC. But, each to their own. |As to those of you sticking your heads in the sand about Johnson and his potentially treasonous visits to the home of an ex KGB agent, without his security detail.....well, if you believe that was innocent, you'll believe anything.

Came over as very confident about anything raised. Yes wigs, masses of make up over all the facial surgery but can't hide the wrinkly skin on her chest. Definitely showed up all the work she's had done. Lives in a lovely environment, served hand and foot, if I reach 90 that will do for me.

So what if she's had some work done on her face and wears a wig she looks amazing! I would do the same if I had plenty of money.
