I am so fed up with the Joel storyline, it goes on and on, I just want him gone ☹️

Am also rather fed up with Lauren, if I dare say that. The wild eyes, the leaping down everyone’s throat who are trying to support her… and yes, I know she’s going through a lot.

Where is she living at the moment?

Does she stay at the hospital, or at Max’s or the dreaded nephew of Carla, whose name escapes me?

So glad we haven’t seen anything of him lately.

I thought DS Swain’s hair looked very nice ‘up’.

Will also be glad when Paul’s funeral is over, it too will drag on with endless arguments and bickering.

Whatever, he is a man of God and it’s not surprising he wants a religious send off for his partner. It’s a pity Paul didn’t make it clearer what sort of funeral he envisaged, they seemed to talk about his demise so it would have made sense.

Is Daisy getting the hots for Daniel again? Has the attraction of Ryan faded away? My Granny would have said Daisy is no better than she should be which I struggle to make sense of. Much the same as Now, then. It could drive you mad if you thought about it for too long. I hope Betsy confesses all to her Mum because it just might be what she has been waiting for to charge Joel.

I have mentioned that in previous posts that Joel's trial may be the Christmas storyline.
Will Daisy try to win Daniel back now Ryan has cottoned on to her feelings she still has for her former boyfriend? Bethany may have a few things to say about that although having read next week's spoilers.....................................................

I like the wobbly Turkish signs in the hospital. I see Adam’s had his hair cut at last, a bit drastic, but it suits him.

Bethany would not be in a single room in ITU without staff around her. It has all happened so quickly, she has hardly stepped off the plane, had major surgery and is in ITU.

It is doubtful that doing a "GoFundMe" will raise the money required. Even if she died, the surgery and hospital stay would have to be paid for.

Yes, this story is a direct contrast with the Paul one, isn’t it? On a number of levels.

I do wish Corrie would get its act together and go back to coordinated script and storylines with a proper ensemble cast instead of this hotchpotch of separate (and very variable quality) episodes.

It’s a bit rich Sarah blaming Daniel for Bethany’s body insecurity - didn’t she have an eating disorder in the past?

I commented on the 2nd September that Adam had had his hair cut. Did no one else notice back then? 😂

I noticed Daniel said he was leaving Bertie with his dad.

It’s good that Ken, who needs Cassie as his carer and chief cup-of-brew maker is able to step up and look after a lively five year old, or however old Bertie is now.

Who is taking him to school or nursery?

Oh yes. I noticed that but the penny didn’t drop that Ken needs care himself 😀. This is what happens when the stories are scripted by different teams.
