Glastonbury. Any bands worth looking out for?

MissAdventure another of my favourites is a band called Ghost Hounds although my daughter says is just because the singer is gorgeous,try youtube for their Last Train to Nowhere ,or if you like Quirky theres The Dead South ,or Blueberry Smoke both excellent.I love to find new music .Enjoy

The wonderful Sam Lee has just been on iplayer ! I just caught it as I flicked over to it…

Lots of good bands on the small stages sat watching last night for 4 hrs. Love watching glastonbury introduces you to many new bands. Missed the Prodigy I’ll go search now.

I lived in Braintree and the Prodigy lived down the road to where I lived. It was great to see them from time to time.
We also went to see the Funeral of the Band Member Keith Flint. There were lots of people lining the street to see the funeral procession and also a band member brought Keiths dog along.

Thourghly enjoyed Dua Lipa, what energy! New to me was Confidence Man on the afternoon they were entertaining.

How do they remember all those dance moves? And how do people go down on their knees and get up again ( Sophie Ellis Bector does it all the time). I’ve just been told about a band called Heilan who make a sort of Iron Age music..

Keane - Tom Chaplin’s voice is wonderful, my favourite song is Sovereign Light Café (but they ended their IOW set with it).

Dua Lipa was fantastic!
My local pub played the set [loud) it was a good night.
I’m enjoying listening to the Red Hot Pipers, I’d not heard of them before so thanks GN for this.

My catchup tv has stopped working. Thank goodness I can access it via my ipad.

I have heard there is a good up and coming band called Coldplay performing and their lead singer is Chris Martin. I am sure they will be one to look out for in the future, as well as going on to bigger and better things.

Oh ballie I think the best gig I went to was to see them at the Emirates stadium. An amazing experience.

Johnnie Flynn and The River People are playing the folk stage on Saturday night. Lankum are playing earlier and I think The Mary Wallopers are on, too. Really looking forward to that: just hope they show the full set.

Desperately looking for advice on mobile scooters.

The Last Dinner Party were great weren’t they. Did you see them being interviewed earlier? Lankum were wonderful. I don’t undestnd how people can combine such disparate sounds and make them so coherent and beautiful.

Oh no. I looked at the schedule and thought Johnny Flynn was playing last but I misread it and he was on first so I’ve missed it. And my iplayer isn’t working. I’m gutted.

I love Corrine Bailey Rae’s, watching her today either her sound system was off or her voice was off.
