Fantastic scenery in South America - shame about the irritating celebs grin

Interesting, Kelly's comment about where she is at this stage of her life (44). And how she perceives her future.

Yes, it's all a bit convenient that there's now very little time between all four pairs, but I'll still be watching the final next week.

Yes I thought that. There seemed to be some disjointed editing, I’d have to watch again to pinpoint it.
I’ll also be watching the final. It’s all to play for.
I love the scenery, DH doesn’t do long haul and very hot countries any more, so I might have to find someone to go with.

I agree!

You've got to be cynical when they all arrived at the penultimate destination only 30 minutes apart. Conveniently leaving the final leg open for all of them to win the race.

The sun dancing on the horizon across the salt beds and beyond was an amazing sight.

Especially considering they seemed to travel by different routes to get there!

Some of this last episode seemed to be rather vague but perhaps I wasn't fully concentrating.

I was getting fed up with Sam, Scott Mills' husband's obsession with winning - such a moaner! There could be no enjoyment if they were totally fixated on the competitive element of the 'race'. So I was quite relieved when they came in second.

I like the slightly overlooked Kola and Mary Ellen, they certainly seem to have a close cousin relationship in their mutual support of each other, Mary Ellen is such a trooper and a positive influence on Kola, particularly when he lost his passport, what a scary moment! before it was eventually recovered.

I'm hoping Kola and Mary Ellen will win.. she is such a lovely calm, unspoilt, intelligent woman.. and I loved how he found peace on a horse.. who wouldn't?
