I have Netflix - it came as part of a deal. I rarely watch it because, with a few notable exceptions, I find many of the films and box set dramas underwhelming. They have a conveyer belt-like quality - stupid plots and unconvincing acting.
The BBC has produced so many brilliant book dramatisations and real life and imaginary dramas - such as Happy Valley, The Durrells ,Shetland, A Very English Scandal, Wolf Hall, The Sixth Commandment, etc, etc, and comedies to suit all tastes and sensitivities , Ghosts, Fleabag, Motherland, Car Share, etc, etc.
ITV has also made some outstanding programmes, the most recent and notable of which I would suggest is Mr Bates and the Post Office. However, the constant advertisements are, for me anyway, an annoyance.
I think the BBC is great value for money and if we lose it we will find that the prices of pay for television will suddenly increase at the same time as the quality will decline.
