Unforgotten, is a stand out series for me along with Happy Valley, Broadchurch. Like others have mentioned, my favourite foreign series is Spiral, The Killing a close second. I just loved it. I remember enjoying The Good Wife, Madmen and The Sopranos from a few years ago. Lately, Ripley on Netflix, thought it was brilliant, like Madmen very evocative of that era, slow paced but cranked up the tension really well and a big plus a fair amount of the dialogue was in Italian. Also on Netflix, Anatomy of a Scandal. Over on Apple I enjoyed Bad Sisters and loved the first two White Lotus, haven't seen anything of the third, also thought Kate Winslet in Mare of East Town was very good. Big Little Lies. My son tried to get me to watch Breaking Bad, he thought it was the best series ever, well his best series at any rate, but I couldn't get into it. I dipped in and out of Ted Lasso mainly because it was filmed in Richmond, my husband had an office there at one time where I also worked, and we lived nearby, but I could take or leave the series, My husband and children loved it. Comedy I enjoyed "This Country" a bit Marmite possibly. Can't think of too many on Prime, Daisy Jones and the Six, loosely based on Fleetwood Mack. Two brilliant travelogues on Prime "Algeria from Above" and "Morocco from Above" both fascinating countries and such amazing footage by way of drone gives the viewer they're just floating across both countries. Some of the sights filmed are fascinating, in particular amazing cave paintings. Both countries are more diverse than I imagined, having churches as well as mosques.
I'll have forgotten something I'm sure.
