Time for the next thread.

Are Sally and Tim still fostering?

Didn’t the girls go to live with an auntie, or maybe only one of them as Joanie had ill treated Shanice?

I thought they mentioned Shanice coming home soon.

Am I going mad?

Tonight’s episode started with Asha in hospital.

I thought the other night she was back home getting ready for Dev and Bernie’s wedding, having been discharged after her suicide attempt.

I will have to rewatch I think.

Calendargirl Wed 08-Oct-25 20:30:05

P.S.

I’ve been away and have been watching some episodes on catch up. I think I must have muddled up episodes!

Charleygirl5 Wed 08-Oct-25 22:54:46

At least we were spared seeing Theo.

Clawdy Thu 09-Oct-25 17:12:13

So Tim and Sally are heading for trouble. One of the few happy relationships on Corrie, but they have to change it. So wrong.

Crossstitchfan Sat 11-Oct-25 15:56:27

You are right about that. They change things for changes sake, I think.
I have said for ages that most of the many writers on Corrie are very poor. I think if they could go back to one scriptwriter, it would be better.

Yes, thank heavens. I don’t know what it is about him. He’s not bad looking but he makes my flesh crawl, even when he’s being normal and nice.
I think he is a mediocre actor and no asset at all to Corrie. Is he actually going to do anything to Todd, or just keep popping up annoying people?
If I had my way, he’d take a long walk off a short pier!

LovesBach Sat 11-Oct-25 17:31:09

Todd must love him, as he tolerates relentless cruel and hateful behaviour from Theo, most of it conjured up on the flimsiest of excuses. If he could think straight he might consider that his future is bleak if he stays with a person with so many problems.

Primrose53 Sat 11-Oct-25 18:02:36

Once again, the dialogue between Theo and Todd was not suitable for before the watershed. I am not repeating it but maybe others noticed.

Calendargirl Sat 11-Oct-25 20:17:37

I agree Primrose, their dialogue is just smutty and sleazy much of the time, full of creepy innuendo.

🤮

I thought it might just be me Calendargirl turning into a grumpy old woman. But my nieces who are obviously much younger and not easily offended say the same.

You must be a glutton for punishment, rewatching this tripe.

So Abi is having an affair with Carl who is also having a thing with James, Abi has had a baby with Toyahs husband , Toyah is having a relationship with her stepsisters husband who has also had relationships with …too many to list. Kevin is with Abi, he had Jack with a colleague … How can anyone on Corrie complain about cheating I don't know. Im fed up with Trisha already

LovesBach Mon 13-Oct-25 16:05:59

Did Kevin not father Jack with Mollie, Tyrone's wife, who was killed in the tram crash?
Toyah returned to the street with Peter, who has been married to Carla and Leanne, and Leanne has been married to Nick and Peter. Carla has been married to Nick and Peter , and a Scottish man, name escapes me, who was also with Maria. Carla originally appeared married to Paul Conner, brother of Liam, who is the father of Maria's son Liam. Liam was also in a relationship with Leanne until he disovered she has beene earning her living as a prostitute. No, on reflection, nobody can complain about cheating.

BlueBelle Mon 13-Oct-25 16:13:09

Whose Trisha ?

vegansrock Mon 13-Oct-25 16:54:43

Trisha ( is that her name?) is the older woman who has come back into Tim’s life, but why on earth he would fancy her rather than Sally I don’t know.

Bukkie Mon 13-Oct-25 17:50:02

And to add to the relationship confusion, I don't think there are many men on the Street Sarah hasn't had a relationship with.confused

Strangely, she (Trisha) just happened to have a lift in Tim’s taxi, realised they knew each other years ago, and suddenly she keeps appearing in the Street.

Funny how all these years went by and they never met up until then.

Now he can’t get rid of her,

I think the producers of Corrie must have shares in breweries.

Last night, it was all about drinking.

Theo, Gary and a potential business partner were downing pints, then moved onto ‘shots’. No idea if they got the business deal done properly, as the next venue was Canal Street.

Debbie and Brian were in, I assume, the Bistro, with Debbie knocking back the wine.

And last but not least, to celebrate Todd’s good news about his bowels, he and Billy were getting drunk in Billy’s flat, opening several bottles of wine whilst wearing silly hats. Summer popped in and was delighted by it all.

Does Billy ever do any ‘vicaring’ now? He always seems to be in the Rovers, the Bistro, the cafe,….but very rarely anywhere near a church.

Calendargirl Tue 14-Oct-25 12:05:44

Oh, and I think Cassie was enjoying a glass, instead of looking after Tyrone.

Nannee49 Tue 14-Oct-25 16:18:45

Actually, I think the last couple of episodes have been ok with less focus on just one or two storylines & more going on.
And, surprisingly, from not being able to bear the Christina character I'm actually quite liking the George and Christina pairing, even if there's more than a touch of Patricia Routledge's Kitty from Cheadle in Christina's performance.

Bukkie Tue 14-Oct-25 19:13:40

Christina is rapidly growing on me and is a good double act with George. At least she can act and reminds me of the good old days of Corrie.

Grannycool52 Tue 14-Oct-25 19:28:44

Yes, I think the Christina actress can act well.
As I mentioned before, she played a middle class doctor in The Royal and did that well too. I always thought that the Debbie actress was good, but she's a bit over- the - top at the moment.
"Kevin " looks about 85, but I think he's only meant to be about 60. I know the actor had alcohol dependency problems in real life and that seems to have taken its toll. Now he looks like Abi's elderly father.

Charleygirl5 Wed 15-Oct-25 10:25:17

It wouldn't surprise me if Kevin and Sally reunite, as their partners have eyes for others.

Theo is someone else, no wonder Todd doesn't feel safe and comfortable near him. I would pack a case and run for the hills.

Kate1949 Wed 15-Oct-25 10:44:41

A bit of trivia that you all probably know anyway (if you are remotely interested). Christina is played by Amy Robbins, sister of Kate Robbins, aunt of Emily Atack (actress) and second cousin once removed of Paul McCartney. We have the decorators in and I'm bored!
