Christmas TV

I read online that some had previewed this year's listings with dismay!

Dad went and got us the weekly mag, apparently, Tesco doesn't have next week's in, in any version (We have TV Choice) so dad bought the one they did have, the Christmas one.

What a load of crap!

Last year, our TV and dvr box both died, so I replaced both (I do like to record and watch later, hence the dvr) and discovered BONES, bingwatched it, brilliant!

About a month ago, U released Elementary! With not having sky, never saw it when it was released and though it was released on Freeview many years ago, I only saw the 1st series. Let's just say I'm On Series 5 (though I have jumped to the finale to see the very last episode).

I must say that Jonny Lee Miller makes a divine!!! Sherlock Holmes! (I used to think that Jeremy Brett was the best SH, I now think JLM is!!)

Greciangirl

I am really looking forward to All Creatures great and small.
Also Call the Midwife.

If I want to watch a decent film, then it’s Netflix.
Or Apple t.v.

Always something to watch on telly nowadays .

I think some people like having a good old moan about stuff.
And why not?

Agree Greciangirl! Having said that we have Apple, Netflix and Prime and Discovery so maybe if you’re dependent on terrestrial channels …

The King is only doing 2 minutes? Did'nt his mother always fill at least a 15 minute slot?I know he's been ill but if he does not think his subjects are worth at least 10 minutes or so of his time then it's a poor show of how he values us.

I noticed they have crammed the watchable stuff into xmas eve & xmas day but by 27th theres a lot of old stuff. Why not space better stuff out a bit to span 3 to 4days instead so we are not bored by day 3.?

The Radio Times is available free on the Libby app from most libraries. Might find some hidden gems.
