Anyone up for a Traitors thread?

Millie I also couldn't really take to Rachel but liked Stephen. I really didn't want her to win.

I actually find the tossing of the bags into the flames rather dull... and my red/green colour blind husband finds it very frustrating!

Yes to both of the above posts. I'm now hooked on the Irish version.

And the Claudia programme was quite interesting. She's obviously well liked and well respected in the industry. She's a clever, shrewd lady as well as being naturally funny and self deprecating.

I’ve drifted in to watching the Irish Traitors this evening. I’ve watched the first 2 episodes and I’m hooked. It was shown in Ireland last year but is now on BBC Iplayer if anyone is interested.

I would watch but am not too good with lots of Irish accents.
Rachel had a good clear voice so I could always understand her the ending of Traitors was so good and I was happy that the last two standing were Rachel and Stephen.Faithful to each other is the way to go.

Is the Irish one on YouTube, please? If not, where can I watch it?

Grannynannywanny Sun 25-Jan-26 11:59:45

Doodledog it’s on BBC3 and the full series has already been added to BBC Iplayer .

kissngate Sun 25-Jan-26 13:34:44

Grannywanny - we have just checked iplayer for Traitors Ireland only the first two episodes have been uploaded as far as we can see. I did go on BBC3 but again only two episodes appear.

kissngate Sun 25-Jan-26 13:37:27

Thought the Traitors were worthy winners of the latest series. Apart from Harriet and Jessie the rest of them were clueless and did not deserve a share of the winnings.

Grannynannywanny Sun 25-Jan-26 14:25:00

Sorry kissngate I thought they were all there. I watched and enjoyed the first 2 episodes last night and turned off quickly before it rolled on to the next episode. Sounds like I would have had a long wait if I’d sat staring at the screen expecting episode 3 to appear 😆

Looks like 2 a week for Ireland. As well as Australia, NZ and the US on iPlayer, you can watch a few others on Daily Motion, Canada next on my list

Yes. I found that too, but I see 2 new episodes are on BBC3 tonight so I imagine they will appear on iPlayer in blocks of 2.

I keep reading rumours about potential contestants for the next Celebrity version

I'm trying to tell myself that it is all rumour or hearsay at this stage because the thought of Danny Dyer, Alison Hammond and Cheryl Cole all on my screen at the same time is making me a bit nervous, not in a good way. 😱

Casdon Mon 26-Jan-26 21:38:55

I hope the next Celebrity series attracts some more heavyweight stars, like it did last time, not just the fluffy ones. I’d like to see Ian Hislop on it.

I really enjoyed episodes 3 and 4 of Traitors Ireland last night. I had only intended watching one episode but I was so engrossed I watched both.

Funny how the Irish one has a very different atmosphere to the UK version.

They seem to drink lots of tea for a start, but they also seem to go off and speak quietly to each other too- it seems less claustrophoic and more like just popping round to your mates house.

They are very good at figuring out the Traitors though- and the Traitors are doing a terrible job!

shysal Tue 27-Jan-26 09:56:54

I heard that Amanda Holden is tipped to be in the next Celeb Traitors. I hope not, it would ruin it for me as I find her very irritating. I like Alison Hammond but don't know whether she would be right for it either.

I think the Irish traitors are hopeless! I can't see any of them lasting long.

Grannynannywanny Tue 27-Jan-26 10:30:35

Sad to read that Traitor’s winner Rachael’s mum has died. She spoke of her often during the programme.

That is sad, I hope she managed to give her mum some of the experiences and treats she wanted to before she died.

They both have loud, self indulgent laughs.
One of them would be bad enough but please not both of them together. 😩

Grannynannywanny Tue 27-Jan-26 11:05:36

I hope the aforementioned names prove to be unfounded rumours. I can’t take to Danny Dyer and avoid anything he’s in.

As for Alison Hammond and Amanda Holden? I don’t think either of them are capable of the quiet conversations and whispering in corners that is part of the Traitors programme. They are loud.

Of course, I'm thinking the Traitors has only just ended but it probably finished about six months ago.

I was going to say it goes to show that spending all the time away in order to win some money probably counted for nothing and swon't bring her mum back- but maybe she did get to treat her to a few things after all...

Still if it was me I would be thinking I ought to have been with my mum and not in some Scottish castle lying to other people... maybe that's a bit harsh I don't know.

JamesandJon33 Tue 27-Jan-26 13:24:02

If those two women are in the next celebrity Traitor, …it’s a big No No for me .

Does anyone watch that Amanda and Alan Spanish house restoration programme? I don’t watch it because both of them laughing constantly drives me mad ( and I love house restoration programmes usually). I just get the feeling that no one actually watches it, not just me…

So sorry to hear that Rachel's mother has died. He plan to spend the winnings on making nice memories for her was so kind.
