Scrublands is starting tonight on BBC4. I only recently finished reading the book which was excellent so I will definitely be watching this series to see if it's as good.

Just got the book from the library after seeing your recommendation Sparklefizz but have two others to read first as they cannot be renewed (in demand ones).

Will look forward to it all.

Hope you enjoy 😊

Thanks for the heads up Sparklefizz, Googled it sounds well worth watching. Some of the best crime series have been launched on BBC4, including Spiral.

I will look forward to watching this. BBC4 is the only channel we can find anything worth watching on a Saturday. The foreign films are excellent particularly Spiral as Terribull says. I still morn that it has finished, I loved the characters particularly Laur and her mate , thescruffy cop, I cannot remember his name. He was in the recently finished French series but did not have a lead role.

Thought the first two episodes quite intriguing, will wait until next week for the rest.

Disappointed so far …..

Two episodes in and enjoying it. There have been quite a few dramas set in remote places in Australia and am hoping the genre doesn't become as overloaded as Nordic Noir did.

Very different from the book.

I had never read the book which is a bonus as I dislike watching adaptations of books I've enjoyed. So far, so intriguing,
