Is it only me that really cannot see anything physically attractive about this man?

I believe that he has an "army" of fans who refer to themselves as "Cumberbitches"

Sorry, just don't get it.

Frankel Ola's bottom is indeed very attractive envy [not lust!!!]

I don't find Brad Pitt attractive at all and I loved Jeremy Brett as he had a sort of debauched appeal! blush [not gay either emoticon]

I think BC is good looking. Brad Pitt was a pretty boy when he was younger but he's not aging well.

I am not familiar with Benedict Cumberbatch's face or Ola Jordan's bottom. I might Google the first, but I think I'll give the second a miss. grin

I think it's his mouth - it seems to be in the wrong place - but I do quite like him (too young tho' wink)

I Googled. He's got the same kind of made-out-of-Plasticine and slightly squashed face as the chap who currently plays Dr Who. Not offensive but not thrilling either. But then how many of us are?

On of my crushes from way back is starring in a new tv series; Gabriel Byrne..does anyone like him? I first noticed him a little known Irish soap that used to be on daytime television before he made it big in Hollywood. No, I don't get the Brad Pitt idolisation, although I have realised he is a fine actor [his looks kind of got in the way].

Can't see the attracion either. Same with David Tennant (sp?) Scary eyes!

crimson Wed 31-Oct-12 15:23:50

Maybe they fill the gap of 'people to fantasise over that there is a slim chance of it being reciprocated' other than people to fantasise over who wouldn't even notice me if I was the last woman on the planet sad. [I think I missed out a verb or adjective in that first sentence but can't for the life of me work out what it is].

Anne58 Wed 31-Oct-12 15:26:44

crimson , wonderful sentence confused

By the way, I expect you've heard that Kauto is definitely retiring?

crimson Wed 31-Oct-12 15:50:59

No. I've been out most of the day. Oh gosh..feel a bit tearful now! I always resented Kauto because I felt people had forgotten my beloved Dessie. Then, when he was younger his jumping worried me so much that I never enjoyed watching him race [remember when the bookies took bets on him not completing the sourse in the Gold Cup one year; I was beside myself with fury that they could encourage people to make money on a horse falling]. I still never really 'got it' till last years King George; we were watching it at the S.O's mum's house and we'd both backed another horse. She couldn't understand why I was screaming Kauto home and crying. By the way, Horse and Hound are doing a blog about Denmans new home; he's having a great time. Kauto can't have been showing any sparkle in his work. But, thank goodness he's retired safe and sound. Certainly the greatest since Arkle, even though it's taken me a long long time to admit it. [now to go and have a weep].

Do you know, that still makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up!

Ruby always rode him so well.

(Erm, we seem to have a bit of a thread hijack here confused

As you were, ladies!

crimson Wed 31-Oct-12 16:14:30

Sort of back on track; Sam Thomas is going to have a slot on Channel 4 Racing I believe wink.

Anne58 Wed 31-Oct-12 16:16:03

Thank goodness they are ditching that revolting man, now there is someone I defy anyone to find attractive!

crimson Wed 31-Oct-12 16:18:35

I'll miss John Francome though. He once touched my arm at Cheltenham when he politely asked me to move out of the way [be still my beating heart blush].

feetlebaum Wed 31-Oct-12 16:41:08

Ola Who?

Frankel Wed 31-Oct-12 22:48:23

feetlebaum: Ola Jordan is a model and a dancer on a TV programme you don't like.

Going back a few million posts - I'm not saying Jeremy Brett wasn't gorgeous .... anyone remember The Three Musketeers back in 1964? And he made a much sexier Max De Winter than Charles Dance did.

petallus Wed 31-Oct-12 23:06:08

I loved the way JB flared his nostrils when he was being Sherlock.

Ana Wed 31-Oct-12 23:07:00

Yes! And he had such class....

Anne58 Wed 31-Oct-12 23:20:34

Does anyone other than me remember Lawrence of Arabia? One particular shot that was just.........................

Ana Wed 31-Oct-12 23:23:43

Peter O'Toole? Oh, yes......

Anne58 Wed 31-Oct-12 23:25:48

Oh YES, YES !

If there had have been a like button I would have liked your comment Jodi even though I don't agree with like buttons. So now I have to comment, I will add that I don't find Brad Pitt particularly appealing either. Then I read crimson's post and had a peek at Gabriel Brynne, he is nice looking and a bit rugged. I definitely like the look of rugged men, I don't mind if they are bald as long as they don't dye their hair. hmm

Faye Thu 01-Nov-12 02:42:53

I just had another look at Gabriel Brynne and he does dye his hair....errrk confused I have gone off him already!!! sad
