AIBU to think that bringing a case to dispute the burial place of the bones thought to be those of Richard 111 is a waste of court time, when people have to wait months for their cases to reach court and innocent people could be held on remand for months?

There is a beautifully designed tomb that the Richard III Society have produced; the latest design I've seen from Leicester was pretty unimpressive.
My suggestion for the oubliette would definitely be Henry Tudor and perhaps there'd be room for his awful old mother as well.

Do you think he would have minded 1] being buried and a car park being built over him, 2] being used as Cockney rhyming slang? He now deserves some very late respect I think....... so, to York, it's the least we can do!

As the last of the Plantagenets perhaps he should be returned to Anjou. Plantagenet Henry II, his wife Eleanor & one son are already in France according to an excellent TV documentary on the Plantagenets on BBC2 last night.

Missed that! I've seen their tombs many years ago.

Anyone watch the new series on the Plantagenets last night? I will have to catch it on iPlayer as it clashed with some good stuff.
