Ceesnan Sun 24-Jan-16 06:46:25

Not sure why you think you will get unpleasant replies - the majority on this forum are only too willing to be supportive. Come on, see if we can helpsmile

loopylou Sun 24-Jan-16 06:53:37

Do see if GNs can come up with some help, never failed for me so far ?

grannylyn65 Sun 24-Jan-16 07:13:11

I really wish I could but was torn to pieces by another member who pours her vitriol on many asking for help, when someone protested they were told 'this is a forum, therefore I can say anything I want!!!

cornergran Sun 24-Jan-16 07:19:50

So sorry you are having a bad time. Hope there is some way we can support. flowers

Imperfect27 Sun 24-Jan-16 07:29:19

Dear grannylyn I can understand your reservations. Sending a PM.

Indinana Sun 24-Jan-16 07:33:07

There will always be the odd one or two on here who are less than sympathetic, sadly. But for the most part people on this forum are very helpful and supportive. I am so sorry you are finding life difficult at the moment but I hope you can put your trust in the many kind members here so they can offer the support you need. flowers

Good morning grannylyn65, hope today gets better for you. There was a lovely news item yesterday about a panda in Washington Zoo. Sorry, have no idea how to do links but if you go into You Tube and search for "panda in the snow" it will come up. Charming and guaranteed to raise a smile!

rosesarered Sun 24-Jan-16 08:29:21

Whatever is wrong for you, hope that it will improve soon 'grannylynn*?

grannylyn I know what you mean but you soon learn which direction comments like that are going to come from and they are in the minority - just ignore their postings - I do. There is one in particular who makes me roar with laughter she is so extreme. If you want a chat you could send one of us whom you feel is sympathetic a message - no-one else will see it and you can have a private chat. I've had quite a few of those so you are welcome to pm me. flowers

NanaandGrampy Sun 24-Jan-16 09:45:27

I'm so sad you feel that way. And I totally understand it. There seems to be a few who must be very grumpy ladies in real life . Can we tempt you out with a brew and a cupcake ( virtual of course )?

morethan2 Sun 24-Jan-16 10:04:49

a little bit of sunshine for you grannylyn65 if we're feeling a bit down its easy to let a unkind remark hurt. I'm the sort who somtimes lets things fester and work myself into a knot. I'm trying hard to change, but it's hard. I've got no idea what's happened and I don't want to be dismissive but I hope your day improves and you've got somone to chat to.
