I wonder how long he practiced for this ?

Carrie is just fine and needs no sympathy. She's got 2 lovely children. Obviously Boris isn't everyone's' Mr Right but it's none of our business really.

It was their wedding dance though.
It wasn’t as if he just spontaneously got to his feet at a party and started to goofily boogie around.
It’s a bit odd that they didn’t touch each other or dance together.
He doesn’t take anything seriously.
I feel a bit sorry for Carrie really

They could have had one together before this was filmed who knows.
They have been married a while with two small children and little Wilf obviously wanted to join in

FannyCornforth Sat 06-Aug-22 10:13:25

No it was their wedding dance. Dedicated to Carrie, whose first name is Caroline

FannyCornforth Sat 06-Aug-22 10:16:10

I imagine that Carrie was delighted when Wilf joined in.
He provided a distraction from his father, and was at least interested in dancing with her.

Zoejory Sat 06-Aug-22 10:17:50

Well I'm very happy that some of you didn't see one of my son's first wedding dance. He stood there, hardly moving, he resembled a robot. Frozen. Unable to move. His lovely little wife doing her best but the relief when the dance was over. Massive. You could hear the sighs of relief when it ended, not just from family and friends, but from son.

I think we can criticise Boris for many many things, but this? Nope. Just plain nasty.

FannyCornforth Sat 06-Aug-22 10:18:57

Oh well. Yesterday I was declared rude. Today I’m nasty

My favourite photo of our son's recent wedding dance was when the 4 year old DGD ran over to the couple to be scooped up. Little children love to be part of it

FannyCornforth Sat 06-Aug-22 10:28:44

My step sister’s wedding dance was ‘Time of my Life’ from the aforementioned Dirty Dancing.

The Groom perfectly performed the famous ‘lift’ move with his rather diminutive Best Man.
It was absolutely brilliant

Visgir1 Sat 06-Aug-22 10:28:58

It was his wedding, nothing to do with us.
How many dodgy 1st dancer's have we all seen?

Parsley3 Sat 06-Aug-22 10:28:58

Love his natty white suit.

FannyCornforth Sat 06-Aug-22 10:30:52

He’s certainly had enough opportunities to perfect it.
Miaow ?

If you are going to insult someone. at least take the trouble to spell it correctly.
The verb is 'practised.'

? - you saved me from feeling the need to say it.

RichmondPark1 Sat 06-Aug-22 10:35:21

Something about his dancing makes me think he's been watching The Jungle Book with his children. Yoo hoo hoo, I wanna be like youuuu.

Loathe Johnson as I do, they look like they're having fun. Good for them.

Luckygirl3 Sat 06-Aug-22 11:03:01

Is it usual now for the bride to dance with her grandfather in the first dance ........... ? smile

Smileless2012 Sat 06-Aug-22 11:03:56

They were obviously having a good time and wont care what anyone else thinks, and why would they?

GrannyGravy13 Sat 06-Aug-22 11:51:49

I do wonder who will come in for constant derision once Mr.Johnson is no longer on the scene?

Boris Bashing has become a daily occurrence for some on GN, no doubt they will miss him dearly…

Grantanow Sat 06-Aug-22 11:53:52

He is going but he hopes to return. A disaster for the UK just like Brexit.

FannyCornforth Sat 06-Aug-22 12:00:29

I don’t think that we have seen the back of Johnson at all.
Truss will make a complete mess of things, and the Conservatives will be begging for him to return.
There will be a GE and Labour will be far too preoccupied with falling out with each other about to put on a united front.
Meanwhile the Tories will all stand firmly behind their man, and Johnson will romp home.

maddyone Sat 06-Aug-22 12:25:11

Does it actually matter? Doesn’t affect us.

I think the Boris Bashing that happens on here is nothing compared to the way Corbyn was treated.

I know.
It’s my cheerful ‘glass half-full’ optimism that keeps me going…
Not to mention my faith in the Great British Public wink

How sad poking fun.
I quite like seeing people enjoying themselves, better than looking at miserable faces.

That’s how I feel, they are celebrating their marriage surrounded by friends and family.

Kandinsky Sat 06-Aug-22 12:59:36

For all the ‘Boris Bashing’ on here he wouldn’t look twice at any of us - he’s with a beautiful woman in her early 30’s.
He looks very happy to me ?
