Well, according to him, we have voted to "break up the EU"

Erm, no, the vote was just for leaving. Just goes to show how much of a grasp he has.

I despair, that such an ill informed person is in such a position

I feel sorry for the Queen, having to be polite to such a predatory, sexually assaulting, obnoxious oik.

niggly very true, like most of us on GN! grin

lemongrove Fri 13-Jul-18 15:44:32

Maturing looks that is, not becoming First Lady, haha.

Its a pity SK can't spend tax payers money on making the streets safer rather than spending money on a "blimp".
what a complete waste of money, all the protesters would do well to protest about the crime rate rather than a man who has no idea what he is talking about.

varian Fri 13-Jul-18 18:30:43

Sadiq Khan did not spend any money on the Trump blimp.

Juggernaut Fri 13-Jul-18 18:35:01

O.M.G. I'm no royalist, but the ignorant twonk didn't even bow his head slightly when meeting the Queen. Nor did Melania, no sign of anything remotely respectful!
He was voted in, he can be voted out again, he's an absolute nobody.
And as for Melania's outfit to meet the Queen, the skirt was so tight you could clearly see her bum cheeks, revolting and very tarty! Proof if it were needed that class can't be bought!

Juggernaut Fri 13-Jul-18 18:37:50

glammanana
The Trump blimp was paid for entirely through crowdfunding.
Sadiq Khan gave permission for it to fly, and that's the only connection he has with it.

varian Fri 13-Jul-18 18:49:14

Sadiq Khan has also given permission for far-right demonstrations in London. We are a free speech country

Nandalot Fri 13-Jul-18 18:58:12

Like juggernaut I am no royalist but I do admire the Queen for her sense of duty and dignity. I think it is outrageous that she had to wait so long before Trump appeared. She is 92 and it was very hot. She apparently looked at her watch while waiting. I don’t think she was too impressed either.

Well done, your Majesty, and well done to the thousands of peaceful protesters in London and around the UK.

I wonder if we'll see a Trump tweet saying how much we love him in the UK.

Iam64 Fri 13-Jul-18 20:26:12

Well! I've just watched the tv news, which shows the Queen walking along with Trump as they (presumably )inspect the troops. He managed to get in front of the Queen who walked round the back of him, back to the position she was originally. He then walked along the row of beefeaters, at a speed the Queen simply couldn't match. Even if she isn't 20 plus years older than him, she's half his height so his stride is probably one stride to two of hers. What a very ignorant man this is. even if she wasn't the queen of the country he's a visitor in, if she was simply one of our 92 year old mothers, wouldn't we all expect a man not to stride ahead. Pomp and circumstance - he's just too common for it isn't he.

varian Fri 13-Jul-18 20:33:40

Pathetic performance

phoenix Fri 13-Jul-18 20:39:47

The man is an ill mannered oik of the first order. Why presume to hold TM's hand, he wouldn't do that with a male P.M? BTW, shame on you TM for allowing it!

And as for using the "fake news" thing regarding a taped interview, surely that just shows what an idiot he really is.

I utterly loathe, detest and abhor the man.

Iam64 Fri 13-Jul-18 20:44:34

phoenix -your point about him presuming to hold TM's hand, I agree, he wouldn't do that with a male PM. He has also been particularly rude and patronising towards Angela Merkel. Loathsome.

Deedaa Fri 13-Jul-18 21:39:36

I always like the way Angela Merkel looks at him - like a naughty little boy who will shortly be removed by Nanny.

Iam64 Fri 13-Jul-18 21:40:50

Lol Deedaa.

ConnieRigg Sat 14-Jul-18 09:13:20

The Queen knows exactly what she is doing and she does it amazingly. I'm sure she wouldnt have it any other way.

Urmstongran Sat 14-Jul-18 09:21:46

Well I am definitely in the minority here! I find his outspokenness refreshing. Non PC and says it as he sees things. Very unpopular here (on this forum and with some in this country) but very popular in the USA! Mid terms in November are coming up and the DT haters are spitting mad that he is still so popular. There’s even talk he may secure a second term. The people knew what they were voting for. A change. From people who felt left behind and ignored by the elite. Brexit anyone?
He made his promises and he’s stuck to them. The ones who voted for him are delighted.
I know ... time to put my tin hat on and await the howls of protest!
Am I the ONLY admirer of him on here? Seems so!

Who is Teresa May's dress advisor?

Cazzab56 Sat 14-Jul-18 09:24:29

Megan did some thing in famous football field in Dublin. 6 inch heels. Prat

Ellie Anne Sat 14-Jul-18 09:34:03

Can’t stand the man and think his comments in the sun interview were very arrogant.
Why oh why does Theresa may hold his hand? They are not children or romantically involved!

Bathsheba Sat 14-Jul-18 09:40:13

Megan? confused

123coco Sat 14-Jul-18 09:42:03

Yes dead right about that rear split. Bare arns, and a slit up to her bum, yuk. Too much. All that money she could have chosen something a bit classier. And her bra! Don’t get me started on her posture.
Mrs May , go and get fitted for a bra!

gillybob Sat 14-Jul-18 09:43:53

I definitely wouldn’t call myself an admirer of his ( he can be a bit of a prat ) but I think some people must find his “I say what I think” attitude quite refreshing Urmstongran Instead of the simmering away and the back stabbing that we are used to ( think BJ ) Piers Morgan writes an interesting piece on this very subject . Something on the lines of ....” he is a man who if you invited him for dinner would tell you if he disliked the food where many others would smile to your face and talk about your horrible food behind your back” ( not an actual quote before I am corrected) he goes on to say that this is DT . He says what he thinks.

Pebbles77 Sat 14-Jul-18 09:44:22

Trump is like a kid in a candy shop he just can’t stop himself ... he’s in awe of the Queen and everything British ... I just tbink he could have apergers syndrome ... he just says what’s In his head and just seen a clip of his friend Bojo slagging him off when he was mayor ... brilliant can’t wait for trump to see it ... ??

gillybob Sat 14-Jul-18 09:46:51

Why would he be in awe of the queen ?
