New EU Treaty - a good deal or not?

I thought this deserved its own thread. This deal is about to be announced and I’ve just heard Farage on the radio claiming it will be sellout. Trying to stir the pot already. Just wondered how it will be spun. There will be a lot of relieved businesses and relief that there is no deal at least.

British shellfish exports to EU “collapse” as UK overwhelmed with new changes & regulations post Brexit

Nothing to do with hospitality industry in many EU countries being closed due to COVID-19 ?

Nezumi65. It's not that much trouble travelling with dogs. All you need are the rabies jabs and a health certificate issued by the vet 10 days before travel. You need to get one each time. Getting them back into the UK is the same as before. I'm so glad we have a deal and am glad we're away from EU. I love Europe with a passion, the languages, customs and history, but loathed the EU institution as it became a bit of a money grabbing and dictatorial monster. I wish it had remained what it originally was set up for when we voted to join the EEC.

No they can’t cope with the paperwork and delay of the transport.

Wasn’t going to happen we were told. Wait and see we were told.

Fish exports delayed at Lanarkshire distribution hubs where Export Health Certificates taking 5 hours for a vet check instead of 45-60 mins estimated, leading to backlog.
Further delays at English Channel, having to take Dunkirk ferry rather than tunnel because of Calais blockage

Fish exporter James Cook in Eyemouth tells #bbcgms transport “ground to a halt- it’s zero. Trade with Europe has become a lottery” with HMRC failing to issue necessary codes.

BBC fact checks on Johnson’s lies over brexit

The Russian Television station RT is reporting "brexit chaos" - exactly as planned by Vladimir Putin when he, along with the French fascist Marine le Pen and the utterly disgraceful (and now disgraced) Donald Trump, were the ONLY foreign politicians to back brexit in 2016.

They can hardly disguise their glee at having conned 17 million out of the 67 million people in the UK to vote for Putin's brexit project

According to RT - "I know this may be controversial, but a Tony Blair & Nigel Farage dream team is what Britain needs to tackle Covid-19"

Has anyone noticed how the right wing media and the politicians have gone dead quiet about the fishermen?

At one stage you couldn’t move for their worry over supporting the great British fishermen to the extent that they were prepared to exercise gunboat diplomacy.

Now the fishermen are in serious trouble as a result of a hard Brexit.

No reaction whatsoever.
