Stylish jogging bottoms?

I usually change into jogging bottoms (non elasticated ankle types!) at home but now I wear them nearly all the time as i rarely leave the house.

I have one pair of Jersey 'loungewear' trousers which are lovely to wear as they are a bit like thicker PJ bottoms. They are lovely and relaxed but ok if someone comes round.

Can anyone recommend somewhere to buy some more.

kitty ! Give yourself a stern talking to....you are on the slippery road to staying in pj’s all day long.?

But...(ahem!) I do own two pairs of M&S cotton jersey joggers
Good value and wash well.?

I have been wearing Uniqlo ones.

I don't think there is any such thing as 'stylish jogging bottoms' but who cares? Wear them anyway, kittylester, and enjoy!

Sweaty Betty fleece Gary Joggers. Stylish but also soft, warm & comfy.

M&S straight leg joggers! I'm a big (in every sense of the word) fan. They're cosy cotton, wash like a dream and are very reasonably priced. I live in them!

So do I! M and S black jogging bottoms are my main winter clothing for lower body plus warm legging underneath when it's cold.

Oooh, I feel so much better to know I'm not alone in my slobbishness.

Hush do several types of joggers which are super comfy, they also have some harem type ones which feel lovely (deep waistband).

Having seen DOffspring lounging around in comfy looking bottom rather than the denims I live in, I just bought a pair of M&S joggers and they are wonderfully comfortable. BUT, they have no pockets. Nowhere to put a tissue etc. DH can't understand why I'm so hung up about having pockets but couldn't think of any trousers he's ever had which didn't come with deep useful pockets.

Can anyone recommend comfy ones WITH POCKETS!

GrannyGravy13 Thu 15-Oct-20 08:21:10

NfkDumpling Hush joggers have pockets!

I have a pair in navy blue that is stylish, made from Tencel fabric with a bit of stretch in it. I bought them at TK Maxx and the brand is DKNY! So if it's good enough for DK ...

(Jokes aside, I wouldn't pay the Sweaty Betty prices!)

Isn't that an oxymoron - stylish jogging bottoms.? smile

NfkDumpling Thu 15-Oct-20 08:30:42

Thanks Gravy Off to look at Hush.

No such thing I’m afraid but whatever floats your boat!

kittylester, I braved a short trip to John Lewis a couple of weeks ago. As I only wear dog walking jeans these days, decided I should have one decent pair in case I ever leave the house for purposes other than dog walking.

Stylish Jogging Bottoms are a Thing. I bought a pair along with a (stylish) long sweat shirt. The outfit cost about the same as the pair of jeans I'd gone in for. It's so comfortable and I feel I've made an effort when I put my new leisures on for the evening.
It's also possible to buy them in Sainsbury's for much less than JL charge.

Marydoll Thu 15-Oct-20 09:31:13

I too have some from Sainsbury's. Nice and comfy, but smart. Is that possible?
I like the Tencel ones.

I've always liked Nike- I dont like ones with a stripe down the side- I have an M & S pair like this and they are very nice apart from the bloody stripe. I tend to wear leggings and a long jumper at home but always do my hair and a light makeup and some jewels!! Always perfume.

I too live in the M&S straight leg joggers and have a couple of pairs. £15 so hardly breaking the bank. They wash beautifully and the colour hasn’t faded. I don’t see them as ‘slobby’ and often wear them with a smart top. Or used to when we were allowed to socialise.

Cotton Traders have several styles with pockets. I am thinking of trying a pair then buying more if they fit well and are comfy.

Chardy Thu 15-Oct-20 09:50:15

Our M&S has several very nice lounging suits in their window this week.

Flossieturner Thu 15-Oct-20 09:51:16

I don’t like the joggers with ribbed or Elasticated bottoms. I have just bought some black straight leg ones from Primark. They are really comfortable. I think they look like trousers.

Phloembundle Thu 15-Oct-20 09:52:31

That's an oxymoron!

vegansrock Thu 15-Oct-20 09:52:31

I stopped looking at the Cotton Traders when I saw a pair of their joggers were 100% POLYESTER! How they can call themselves Cotton Traders I don’t know. I want 100% cotton ones- or at least 95%, M and S ones look worth a go. Sweaty Betty look fab but £70! I like Uniqlo as a rule but found their joggers a bit short in the leg.
