Just found this mystery series 8 episodes on the BBC IPlayer. All set in Wales and from BBC Wales. Seen the first two episodes which I thoroughly enjoyed. Just wish the whole series was ready to watch.

If you are watching on BBC1Wales it is episode 8/8 so the last one.

Just watched last episode, soooo.....good!

I've just finished watching last episode too (iplayer) and agree nannylovesshopping, absolutely brilliant!

Just watched last episode. I loved the series, but didn't know what to make of the last frame. Was it supposed to be real or just Faith's imagination?

I’ve 2 more to go it’s so good should get an award ? , I do agree about the ‘hair’ flicking it’s a bit annoying but all the children were great even the baby ? .

I think it was real as a bit previously there was a beach scene with the horrible young woman police officer from Swansea doing a deal sort of thing.
. I felt sorry for Evan’s father and the news he had to deal with and I felt sorry for Terry all the way through dealing with the awful selfish wife!

chelseababy Thu 05-Apr-18 19:07:17

I found it all a bit confusing but series 2 might make it all clearer!

NanKate Thu 05-Apr-18 21:05:32

Brilliant series. Is there going to be a follow on Chelseababy I do hope so.

Loved the music as well.

Welshwife Thu 05-Apr-18 21:20:55

I thought they said at the end that series two was in production.

maryeliza54 Thu 05-Apr-18 21:30:27

I was disappointed - I wanted it to end. But it didn’t. Great scenery and music but another ultimate cop out. Also he was a solicitor so would not have been acting as a barrister in the murder trial and I found it completely unbelievable that the grandparents didn’t take in the children. Terry was a wuss but Steve had amazing animal magnetism but basically it’s a thumbs down from me

maryeliza54 Thu 05-Apr-18 21:32:54

Hinterland is real class imo

NanKate Thu 05-Apr-18 22:37:28

Just googled the programme and there is definitely going to be a series two.

Watched the final episode last night on iplayer.
Totally not what i thought would happen.
You could feel the sensuality between Steve and Faith( he is gorgeous by the way) and then......... Really hope this continues.

I thought all the actors in this were excellent - including the children! Just been googling the actors to find out a bit more about them - the actor playing Steve was born in Rhosllannerchrugog ?. He was Stella’s husband in “Stella” which was on S4C.
Looking forward to the next series!

I wasn't happy with the ending. Obviously left for a second series but a bit of a cop out. Don't want to say too much and spoil it for those who haven't seen it.

maryeliza54 Sat 07-Apr-18 12:11:06

I won’t be watching the second series - it will be just more of the same. She should just have run away with Steve and the children and the money? Nice house wasn’t it?

Lynnebo Sat 07-Apr-18 12:29:01

Ohh just binge watching this program - excellent! Thank you for the recommendation!
Have to say Rob Morgan has gone to seed a little - but still gorgeous!! grin

Jayh Sat 07-Apr-18 12:32:52

I binge watched it too. I would have preferred an ending which explained all the mystery. Sometimes an excellent series is spoiled by going on for too long but I will, however, watch series 2.

tanith Sat 07-Apr-18 13:38:10

I loved it and will watch a new series but I was a bit puzzled when Faith rang Ceris and told her not to contact the Met because she’d done some deal involving 80K, who to? and for what?. If anyone can explain in a PM so as not to spoil it for others, I’d be grateful.

Grannyknot Sat 07-Apr-18 14:57:06

I also got a bit confused at the end with all the deals and double-deals smile

Isn't it funny how some men just have what it takes smile - I fancied Rob Morgan when he was with Stella and I agree he is still dishy now, albeit more "frayed around the edges" in this role. Who said something about "animal magnetism"? grin

maryeliza54 Sat 07-Apr-18 15:31:19

Frayed around the edges is a good look imo?

Pittcity Sat 07-Apr-18 22:42:41

Brilliant series which DH and I binge watched thanks to GN.
Ending was a bit odd. Surely she wouldn't risk losing her children for a bit of rough!

maryeliza54 Sat 07-Apr-18 22:54:15

A bit of rough - do you mind? And didn’t you see the last bit?

grannyqueenie Sat 07-Apr-18 22:54:49

Just watched the last episode, really enjoyed this series Amazed it wasn’t trailed more on tv, I only happened upon it by accident. It was much more worth watching than some other stuff I’ve seen hyped up recently.

maryeliza54 Sat 07-Apr-18 22:54:59

I think it was her husband who was the real bit of rough
