I'm blowing my own trumpet here but I am very proud of my first foray into cross stitch.
I have actually made three unicorns, two ballet dancers and one Harry Potter. These are for six of my granddaughters. I really hope they like them.

Whiff - I did some cross stitch many years ago but always had unfinished projects as I never seemed to have time because of the DC never giving me any peace. I've not long bought a bargello kit which I'll start once I've finished a jumper. It's my first attempt at knitting from the top down. I'm slow at knitting as my hands go numb after a short while. Been at it since January and determined to finish it and nearly there. Will post a photo of it but on my original post which was about getting the guage right where some one asked me to post a picture of the finished jumper. Every time I see your work its inspiring so I'd like to have a dabble in cross stitch later.

ClicketyClick I used to love to knit when the children where young but always knitted from the bottom but had stop as I lost control over my arms .
I only started to cross stitch in 2016. Wish I had started decades earlier . But I couldn't understand how little crosses make picture.

I do think doing a craft keeps your fingers nimble and keeps your mind active . Funny enough when I cross stitch my hands don't shake .

Look forward to seeing your finished jumper . Doing a bit of any craft every day it's amazing how it grows. 🧶
