I've seen some nice yarn bowls on both amazon and Ebay. They look really pretty, but I wonder if I really need one.

Does anyone possess one and if so are they useful? All thoughts welcome ๐Ÿค—

Someone sent me these pictures (as they knew I liked sewing and thought I knitted as well) and I thought they might amuse you Fairycakes!

Oh my gosh, AskAlice that's hilarious! ๐Ÿคฃ. I wouldn't want to be alone knitting with them at night though ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†

I actually burst out laughing when I saw them.

I clicked on this thread because I thought it said I'm thinking of buying a barn owl. My strange brain is at it again.

Uh oh, flappergirl, as much as I love owls, I am definitely not buying one ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ. Don't worry, my eyes play the same tricks ๐Ÿ˜

AskAlice one of my craft group posted pictures of those on our what's app group. Yuk . Glad I cross stitch.

Several years ago I put one of these on my Christmas List for my late husband, who was always asking what I wanted . He obviously didn't read the description on the website. It is a 50 cm in diameter and weights just over 2 kilo and made from the roots of a very beautiful tree. Extremely artistic, but completely useless as a wool holder. grin

If anyone is still interested in buying yarn bowls, try SHEIN first, they are so cheap on there!!

I have 2, I paid under ยฃ1:50 for each one. And they're great!!

Oh, that sounds gorgeous. Can you use it as a plantpot or similar? It seems such a shame not to use it.

I don't want to be po-faced, but there are lots of ethical issues with Shein. Rather like Temu, I wouldn't have anything from there if they paid me to have it.
