Well not keen on anton du bec and can’t stand Tom Wilson s voice and he’s getting everywhere now and no idea who the two women are

I would prefer it without “celebrities”

I’ve never heard of any of them.

Sophie Willan is presenting the Christmas show and is staying on to replace Sarah Pascoe in the next series.

I would prefer it if no celebrity was involved. Not keen on any of the line up.

Lucy Beaumont is a stand-up comedian with a droll sense of humour.

Why the heck do we need a comedian ???

New series starts next year with “normal” people.

I would prefer to see 4 past Bake-Off champions doing a Christmas show.

I’m looking forward to watching it. I know (and like) three of the contestants (I need to get out more!)

Lucy Beaumont was in Celeb Traitors, I've never heard of Susan Wokoma.

Sophie Willan can be a bit over the top in interview/chat shows so I hope she doesn't spoil the show.

The only name I recognise is Anton, but I'll watch it purely because he's in it!

Why do the programme makers think Celebrities will add a certain Je Ne Say Qua ? Forgive my awful French .. I just want to learn things and progress ?

You know if you don’t like it you don’t have to watch it!

I’d be over the moon if I could produce some of the garments made in the latest series. Especially in the time they had available.

Christmas specials are always dumbed down, but I think it’s good to have some fun in the run up to Christmas. I just know Anton and Lucy but I’ll be watching.

I love Tom Read Wilson and I would sooner watch him than a lot of sewing and I'm a 70 year old Grandma!

Gosh, you must be a superstar needleperson! I'm jealous of your skills. I clothes-sew and patchwork a lot and am constantly impressed by what the contestants manage to produce in such a short time.
And I really don't understand your complaint about BBC dumbing down. There are “entertainment” shows - Sewing Bee, Strictly, that sort of thing, but it still excels at factual and documentary. Empire? Turner - The secret sketchbooks? Depends what you choose to watch, really.

How can you bear to listen to that awful put on voice though Gwyneth

I love Lucy Beaumont. She wrote a radio 4 sitcom called To Hull and Back which she started in together with Maureen Lipman… she is funny entertaining and talented. Looking forward to this one!

Please Ladies get your facts straight - the contestant is Tom Wilson who is on Gladiators - about as different from Tom Read Wilson as you can get

It’s not compulsory to watch

Why don't they invite past Sewing Bee final winners . We've had some really great creations from the real Winners over the years. A lot of really talented people .

With the exception of Lucy Beaumont who is funny. The line up for this show sounds dire.

This obsession with Wannabees, Has Beens and Never Beens and Tenth Rate Celebs is becoming very waring.

They will do anything to earn a. shilling. Has the budget for this show been radically reduced?

Lastly, I hope Sophie Willan has more to offer this show than the drivel of Almas Not Normal.

Hopefully at least we will have Patrick and Esme
