Ok I’m only asking and prepared to be shot down.
DD has asked me to babysit our GD who will only be 4 months old.
If I were to buy the best noise reduction earphones would it be ok to take baby to a music festival ?
We have VIP tickets seated with tables and we would not drink - just not sure it’s the right thing to do... it’s in a small stadium. Hoping to get some insight in what’s correct or not. My gut feeling is it’s a no no ?

My Dd and Sil took their 10 month old daughter to Hampden for a Scotland football match. She did have ear defenders on for some of the match. She was not upset at all by the noise.

My son and DIL went to the Isle of Wight Festival last year and the couple next to them had their eight day old baby with them, they hadn't even decided on a name for her yet! She slept through everything and the parents were very relaxed and enjoyed the event.

People often take babies to my son’s brass band concerts. They usually sleep through the music, and I have never known one to cry.

Magrithea.....
It’s a long story - I wanted to see take that so bought weekend tickets as the promoters hadn’t announced which day take that would be on.
If they were on the Sat I’d go with a friend and OH would baby sit.
Now we have found out they’re on the Sunday so my daughter and I will go. Baby’s Daddy and my OH will baby sit.
I’m thinking that I have Sat tickets might as well enjoy them. Daughter is happy either way if we go with baby or not. Although other option is to revert back to OH baby sitting and I go with a friend.
So still umming about it.
