I'm on the wagon (ish) so just having a yet another bloody lovely cup of tea smile

Used to be a lovely chilled dry white wine but one has to make sacrifices in search of the body beautiful!

Green tea

Cambia Tue 06-Aug-19 11:15:22

Trying hard for three or four days a week off. Mostly it’s just the thought of a lovely glass of cool white Sauvignon that lures me in. Trying to cook more basic food during the week so I don't feel the need to accompany it with a glass of wine. Z

Yes you can Cabbie21 just hold your finger on the letter and an option for accents will appear.

Had a week away last week and drank more (alcohol) in that week than I would normally in a month. Now I’m not having any more alcohol for a month (I think).

Just made myself a cup of Hibiscus tea. Absolutely delicious hot or cold. I really like the flavour. Very refreshing.

Overthehills Tue 06-Aug-19 11:33:52

Peppermint tea but might try to find hibiscus, Jane10, sounds lovely! It doesn’t taste anything like elderflower does it? Can’t stand elderflower anything though everybody seems to love it.

Black real coffee. G&T later (or two)

DanniRae Tue 06-Aug-19 12:05:24

I am drinking nothing because have a car journey this afternoon and don't want to need a wee.

Solonge Tue 06-Aug-19 12:06:31

Did a dry November 6 years ago....as living in France and aware that all all we and other Brits did was meet up for drinks. Never drank again...don’t miss it, drink alcohol free beer anD cider which are amazingly good now. Feel healthier, am always able to drive and never feel off in the mornings.

Lovely cup of tea

Bijou Tue 06-Aug-19 12:20:58

Tea and one of those sachets for breakfast. Small Guiness with lunch. Small red wine with dinner and lots of plain water in between.

Riverwalk Tue 06-Aug-19 12:29:14

Just had a long iced-coffee - but will have a glass of wine tonight as off to the theatre smile

I don't drink wine cos it irritates my stomach. I wish people would not say "Just a drop won't hurt", from the insensitive or "Don't be such a misery" from the serious drinkers when I politely decline. I don't want to go into medical details at the dinner table. Just let me say "No" without a fuss.

maddyone Tue 06-Aug-19 12:54:59

Tea, well actually just finished a cup. Well a mug really.

Lupin Tue 06-Aug-19 13:01:46

I've got into those cold infuse tea bags. Lovely and light and refreshing made with chilled water.

Jane10 Tue 06-Aug-19 13:02:37

Overthehills Hibiscus tea is sometimes called sour cherry (it says on the packet!). I first got some after reading that it was good for HBP but I drink it because I found that I really liked it. Mind you I'm a sour puss myself!

grandtanteJE65 Tue 06-Aug-19 13:13:17

Mainly water and coffee, sometimes lemonade, sometimes homemade elderflower cordial.

We are tee-total as Dh formerly had a problem with alcohol.

jura2 Tue 06-Aug-19 13:17:47

Tap water mostly, black coffee and Rooisbosh tea.

Alcohol only in the company of friends- mostly. Red wine, dry rosé, local Green Fairy smile, G&T- and once in a blue moon, a good malt in the evening.

ninathenana Tue 06-Aug-19 13:23:49

Just had a diet Coke. I had alcohol for the first time since my birthday in January on Saturday, a glass of Chardonnay and 3 small French beers.
We don't buy/drink alcohol indoors except on special occasions.

Stealing some rainbow slush puppy from my GD whilst she is on the slides at a playcentre. Otherwise, a cuppa.

HazelG Tue 06-Aug-19 13:49:16

Apple and blackcurrant squash, rarely drink alcohol, only water when I am dying of thirst, tea once or twice a day and only one coffee at breakfast.
That wasn't your question though, right now, nothing. [grins]

KatyK Tue 06-Aug-19 13:49:25

A cup of Aldi's finest tea.
