I'm on the wagon (ish) so just having a yet another bloody lovely cup of tea smile

Used to be a lovely chilled dry white wine but one has to make sacrifices in search of the body beautiful!

Yorkshire Tea, biscuit blend. I just love it

MissAdventure Tue 06-Aug-19 14:40:22

Yorkshire tea, too.
Lovely and strong.

A large glass of chilled white wine. Working at the Argy Bargy is a bad influencesmile

Minniemoo Tue 06-Aug-19 15:00:08

Ooh lucky you Merseybelle! I have tea. Which is tepid. And undrinkable.

Charleygirl5 Tue 06-Aug-19 15:01:51

M&S coffee- I am addicted to it.

Merseybelle if you do not have a break from the Argy you will be a raging alcoholic.

Much better not to be reliant on alcohol, I don’t drink it much, once or twice a year, the rest of the time it’s water, tea, coffee.

Lashings of tea, tea and more tea. The occasional coffee or beer.

M0nica Tue 06-Aug-19 15:30:25

jenni123 Tue 06-Aug-19 15:52:59

Water or black tea, occasionally black coffee.
Pure fruit juice.

Tea with soy milk, sinuses better without dairy!

Sealover Tue 06-Aug-19 16:06:08

Water, trying to drink lots of it, Yorkshire tea and Chicory coffee! Trying to avoid caffeine/tannin after lunch owing to insomnia. Haven't drunk alcohol for a long time, don't like it and it doesn't like me.

Wendy Tue 06-Aug-19 16:06:15

Tea, I don't drink alcohol at all.

dogsmother Tue 06-Aug-19 16:07:42

Delicious coffee, mostly Yorkshire tea through the day.
But on Friday night I hit the Bacardi like a problem binge drinker ?

glammagran Tue 06-Aug-19 16:23:40

Monday - Thursday, 4 nights on pelligrino water and angostura bitters. Friday white wine, Saturday fizz and Sunday red wine. Coffee am and tea pm

GabriellaG54 Tue 06-Aug-19 16:41:28

Water, about 2.5 litres daily plus a maximum of 3 ☕☕☕ before 3pm.

Caro57 Tue 06-Aug-19 16:47:58

Just finished an Earl Grey tea. Had fresh mint leaves brewed in hot water with honey yesterday- very refreshing, Have substituted G&T with tonic water, sometimes neat others with lemon or dash of Angostura bitters.

MissAdventure Tue 06-Aug-19 16:48:17

Iced water for me now, except its frozen solid!

Whingingmom Tue 06-Aug-19 17:28:18

Double dark and stormy!

sazz1 Tue 06-Aug-19 17:29:20

Sugar free Ribena very ditluted with a bottle of water as just driven to Devon 100miles and didn't stop for a drink.

NanKate Tue 06-Aug-19 17:40:32

Fentiman’s pink rose lemonade bought from the alcohol free pop up shop. Delicious.

Grandad1943 Tue 06-Aug-19 17:59:14

At work for me it is no more than two cups of coffee in a day supplemented by copious amounts from the water cooler, and my wife sups very similar.

On an evening if we both finish after 5pm or so we usually eat at a restaurant on the way home and that meal usually is accompanied by a glass of red wine.

On an evening at home, it is usually a glass of Soda Water. However, if we do feel we deserve something stronger, Carol enjoys a white wine and Soda, while I enjoy a glass of soft red usually of the brand "Blossom Hill."

However, on a weekend or when we have had a really good day at the office, I will push the boat out with a nip of the liqueur "Cointreau" aided with a dash of Brandy, just gorgeous.

On really special occasions my favourite of all drinks is the Liquor Drambuie mixed with a nice splash of soda water. Again gorgeous but at £25 for a small bottle somewhat expensive, so I often refuse to buy that just on a point of principle.

For weekends and special occasions Carol my wife enjoys a glass of special reserve Port.

Grandad1943 Tue 06-Aug-19 18:05:14

Apologies should be Liqueur above not Liquor.....I think ?

Pantglas1 Tue 06-Aug-19 18:07:59

Today I’ve had one tea, 1 coffee and gallons of water as it’s so hot here and just returned from the bar saying goodbye to our friends where I had sparkling water.

I do like Cointreau and Drambuie over ice as a treat occasionally Grandad1943 and always bring a bottle of each over from Gibraltar when on one of our trips as they’re only £12 each there.

crazyH Tue 06-Aug-19 18:08:56

Sprite

Grandad1943 Tue 06-Aug-19 18:12:16

£12 a bottle for Drambuie , I would be buying those by the box full at that price Pantglas1.

Time to emigrate I think. ?
