Only time I use a 60° wash is for bedding, towels, tea towels, cloths. I've never used 90° wash (have just gone into kitchen to check I have one!)

I always have. Everything goes in dirty, comes out clean is my thinking. But my daughter's just been round and saw me put a wash on and is apparently horrified. She puts a separate hot wash on for cleaning cloths. Am happy with the way I do it so not planning on changing but still curious as to what others do.

YES - I'm another who soaks them in bleach before rinsing and throwing in with the usual laundry!
I CAN'T abide dirty/smelly cleaning cloths - and I refuse to go down the route of disposable/cellulose cloths for cleaning.
I use industrial catering Blue roll brought online, and a lot cheaper than the household stuff, for all my kitchen jobs, and a dishwasher for all the crockery and cutlery. The odd tea towel that l do use gets washed with the bedding on a 60 degree wash, a d the microfiber cleaning cloths from dusting and polishing get washed on a 40 degree wash with DH Trousers, Jean's and Socks, and anything else hes worn such as sweatshirts, dark polo shirts and joggers.
The kitchen surfaces get wiped over regularly with a anti-black spray and blue roll, which gets binned straight away.

I soak dish cloths in bleach, don’t wash them. Tea towels go in a normal wash, dusters and ‘dirtier’ cleaning cloths go in a dark wash with DH’s overalls, gardening clothes etc.
Same here on all counts! ?
Sensible use of energy, water and detergent too.
Tea towels /towels go in wash together..... dishcloths get soaked overnight in a bleach mix
I never use disposable cloths/sponges as I am very eco aware, as we all ought to be ?
I have a dish cloth in a bleach solution between uses change it daily and throw them in the machine when ever I do a hot wash. Teatowels changed at least once a day and hot washed too. Dusters etc go in with jeans. My hand towels are changed daily and hot washed and visitors are encouraged to use paper towels. I never use sponges and use disposable cloths for spills on the floor. Interesting how we all differ in what we do though.
I am a bit concerned at the amount of bleach being used. It is very very bad for the environment. A soak in boiling water is probably effective enough.
As for washing I put everything in the washing machine together and don't bother to separate whites and coloureds. I use a Dylon colour catcher cloth in every wash. This changes colour as it catches loose dye.
I use sponges but anti bacterial washing up liquid. I spray worktops with dettol. Every time I make tea I pour the boiling water over the sponge. Tea towels go in the whites wash with biological powder. The towels get washed after visitors, whichever towels they have used, even once.
If you use silicone sponges, you can put them in the dishwasher of microwave them for 10 seconds and they never look dirty. I also use a washing-up brush and soak it in water with a dash of bleach from time to time. Always hand-wash dusters and cleaning cloths.
Crikey , your immune system must be like a new borns. ! Im sure at cotton 60 degrees everything is super clean
at 60 degrees youre pretty safe. People have different ways but shouldnt impose on you unless you are being slatternly which I dont think you are
Everything goes in the 30 degree quick wash. Soap powders are made to work with tbis temperature. Can't be doing with making things complicated. I have loads of cleaning cloths.
I don't use paper towel unless one of the cats has been sick. I don't use disposable anything. I never use bleach....It rots the fabric.

Agree with you,too much rubbish in landfill already.
I wash them in really hot water (almost boiling ,we have solar power and sometimes it is nearly boiling )in a bowl and then into washing machine with towels and tea towels.
Really dirty things on floor etc would be wiped with kitchen paper towels and for normal floor, mop.
All cleaning cloths (nearly all recycled from old towels, sheets etc.) with tea towels, mop heads, and kitchen towels go in a 95 degree wash. This is because I run a B&B; if it were just me I'd do them at 60 degrees. All look very murky as the colours run, but I know they are clean! I keep separate white glass cloths for carrying plate to guests, which are washed with my other whites at 40 - 60; I don't use them for cleaning.
Dishcloths and tea towels go in with towels on a hot wash. Things like dusters i just soak in a bowl of soapy water. Any other cleaning cloths depending on how dirty they are i just rinse through, if really grubby they get thrown.
I wash tea towels, hand towels, dishcloths with underpants and bed linen on a hot cycle, never less than 90 degrees centigrade.
Dusters and floor cloths I wash on their own and cloths that have been used for cleaning silver and brass are either washed by hand or discarded after use, as the smell of Brasso or Silvo tends to linger in the machine.
I use a sponge with scourer on reverse side and thrown out every week. All cleaning is done with kitchen roll. Toilet is cleaned with toilet brush. Surrounding area with toilet paper & spray bleach then flushed.
90°wash with towels. If its been used for something horrible then it gets rinsed out very well first or I will throw it away. I use old rags as cleaning cloths so throwing them away is no big deal.
They go in a 90 degree wash along with knickers, tea towels. If 90 degrees will kill germs, it will kill em all!
I have microfibre cloths which are used for wiping down the cooker and tops, and tea towels to dry the items that have to be hand washed. These go into the machine for a hot wash when I have a pile big enough to justify doing so - about every four days or so.
Bathroom cleaning cloths and dusters get thown into a bucket under the utiltity room sink and when I have no clean ones left they go into the machine on a very hot wash. I don't think I would like dusters with polish residue, or bathroom cleaning cloths in with my towels, tea towels or ordinary clothing.
I wash mine on a 40 cotton wash with towels, dishcloths and e-clothes, using laundry detergent (no conditioner) and a good splash of white vinegar in the conditioner compartment. Works a treat, they are soft and clean my windows, work tops, sink and shower panels with NO SMEARS
Oh dear! I usually do mine and OH washing in separate loads. His load has been known to include tea towels (often), the dogs water cloths (frequently) and even the dogs bedding (once).
Don't judge me!!!
In with the white wash and environmentally friendly concentrated laundry liquid and a good splosh of old fashioned dettol.
In with whites and disinfectant 60c wash
