Gift for mid nineties MIL

Given the success I had with my last gift from gransnetters last Christmas ( the first gift in decades that has not been returned or not used, can I ask your help again?

My MIL would LOVE to watch the gran. I’d like to buy her a little portable dvd player with build in screen so she can watch dvds that doesn’t require her having to change set up on her tv like a normal DVD player would. ( she really wouldn’t be able to cope with that)

Does such a product exist?

This is very interesting. The Bush one can be plugged into the mains indoors and not the cigarette lighter. I’ve just seen several being sold on eBay at very low costs. I’m going to buy one. This is really helpful-thank you.

I used to be a Home Care Manager and couldn't believe that so many families bought their elderly parents a small screen TV and were then surprised when the parent showed no interest in the programmes that they had watched for years. Trying to tell the family that their parent could not actually see the screen and required a bigger one came as a surprise to them. Many of the elderly cannot see a small screen so please take the size and location of the TV/DVD player into account before deciding which one to buy.
