Nice Stuff to go in the Bath 🛁

Hello smile

Please can I have some suggestions for nice bath products?

I’m sick of wasting money on stuff that a) doesn’t have any discernible scent; and b) doesn’t foam.

Thank you!

So many recommendations for Molton Brown I’ve just had a look, way out of my price range..😐

I love Badedas as well .
It's not cheap !
I use Radox .

Unfortunately my skin is really dry and sensitive so after a soak in the tub I have to shower off all soap residues .

At the moment , my hands are sore from using an antibacterial handwash .

I like sanctuary spa. Either the original orange coloured one or the Lily and Rose. I've only seen the Lily and Rose in a body wash which I assume is for the shower but I use it in the bath too.

Bath and Body Works products have lovely long lasting fragrances (mandarin and ginger is my favourite), also anything Tisserand, The Ritual of Jing and The Body Shop’s British Rose.

Sorry to hear Museum in Bath is closed, thank you for info. I visited there sometime in 1980's and saw a jumper on display that I had!... and still have. I think I bought the PC of it in the shop too.

Thank you Aldom. I cant see how to edit posts to add in bits? I love Badedas also and brings back memories of a dear friend. She always gave me Black Magic and in turn her present was Badedas.

I find Badedas very drying for the skin these days, never used to do that.

I hate baths - 1) a waste of water (when in our area there is still a hosepipe ban)
2) i have vaginal atrophy and it would mean I was adding fuel to a fire
3) water temperature declines if you sit in a bath for a long time
4) you have to sit in your own grime

A shower is so much better

Thanks for your contribution ordinarygirl, but I have already mentioned that, unfortunately, I do not have a shower
And I can assure you that I do not ‘sit in my own grime’

On a brighter note, I have just had a really lovely (no grime involved) Badedas bath.

And I would think that the bathroom smells good too. I Use Badedas in the winter as it’s so comforting.. use L’Occitane in the summer. The verbena is lovely. However I’m off to try the Aldi ones that have been recommended. All for saving cash if I can 😂

M&S do a nice rose bath cream which foams up. It's not expensive. It's not on their website, probably because it's so cheap, about £3.50 as part of their Floral Collection. Also Aldi's Lacura bath soak, a duplicate for the Sanctuary's version but about £5 less.

Fengal think that's how you spelt it.

Champneys bubble heaven in CALM - divine smell that you can get addicted to. Not cheap, but just got one on EBAY for £10 50 (for 300ml). Lathers up beautifully with just a pea sized blob on one of those scrubby thingys, so last for ages.

Badedas is currently on offer from Superdrug, free delivery if you can't get to the shop 🙂

Real soap. the nice ones with essential oils that usually cost about £3-£5 each. The only problem with them is if you get it in your eyes, it stings.

Sanctuary Spa has some really nice bath and shower products and are very nicely scented. Prices are good too. Available from Superdrug.
