Is it just me? But I realised today that I talk to many inanimate objects and have done since the kids left home. Cash machines, the car, my awkward shoe which wouldn't go on, I whitter away.

I'm slightly self-conscious others may well think I'm barking.

Do you do this?

I used to lose things all the time not - any more. I know where they go when I'm not looking. In my other lives in my other paralIels I have a need for these items so I just borrow them and then put them back when finished with. In this parellel when I go back and have another look where I know I left the offending items low and behold there they aresmile Took me along time to figure that one outgrin

The only time I swear is at inanimate objects, and like Nannyliz, the chief offenders are coat hangers. Why do they always hook onto each other? I also thank my car for reminding me that I have left the lights on.

Thank goodness! I talk to myself all the time at home (I do live alone), it really helps sort out my anger issues angry, and no one answers back!! I shout at the satnav, talk gently to my car, and swear like a trooper at other drivers safe in the knowledge that they can't hear me grin. I just love getting old sometimes. P.s. I am so glad i've found this site full of new friends.smile
