I'm a secret online DM reader, but I'm selective. Never read the side column about celebs (well hardly ever.)
And I avoid other stories that I find disturbing.
The DM has happy stories about pets and young children. and some of the political ones are interesting to get a balance.
I've got links to the Independent and Guardian too.
They're all biased one way or another.

I like the TV guide.
The only time I saw a men's mag was when I was invited up to a friend's tree house. The walls had girlie pictures plastered around.

We were both about 9 at the time!!

I like the TV guide and I've never seen any girlie pictures in it, let alone any pictures of toy boys.
Oh, I forgot, wotsisname, Poldark, topless.
Does nothing for me, alas.

There was an article in the TV guide once about my ancestors though, very interesting!

I’m just surprised that some if you still buy a tv magazine ..... even as a supplement!

Katek you are right, but I am a bit of a traditionalist, prefer a book to a kindle and a printed TV listing over an internet listing. The magazine also has articles regarding up and coming programmes, cookery and gardening. Suppose I could try the TV times instead - I wonder if it's cheaper than the Mail on Saturday?

I used to enjoy the News of the World! Now you can't beat that for some 70's naughty sauciness (when I still felt naughty and saucy!)

I think people confuse the online version with the actual newspaper. The free, online version is badly written by junior, would be journos, with odd articles by real journalists. The actual newspaper is far better and regardless of your political persuasion, does have some very good articles on a variety of subjects.

Having said that, I haven’t bought any newspaper for ages.

The TV Times is over-priced, I think, Curlywhirly; we only used to buy it at Christmas.

I have always been ‘ left leaning’, nearly falling over
, but in recent years couldn’t find a newspaper that entertained (is that the right word)like the Mail, Gone are the days of Daily Herald and Reynolds News..showing my age there. Like many of you only read the parts by journalists that appeal and ignore the rest.BTW the Nectar points come in handy?‍♀️
