Had another fall and now the wardrobe rail is broke.

Hi all,
I was leaning in the (built-in) wardrobe fixing my clothes on the back rail when I got a pain in the leg that was mostly supporting me and I turned my ankle and sort of twisted and fell onto my scarf box and all of the things I keep on top of it, and all of my weight went on the (old and flimsy) front rail, subsequently breaking it.

My clothes are now on the floor of the wardrobe, I am in a lot of pain and I don't know where to get another rail. I'm not sure if the rail is fixable either, but I will get a relative to have a look at it, he's very handy.

It was quite a bad fall. I'm posting here as all of you are so lovely and thought a chat with you all would cheer me up. X

Calendargirl

On a previous thread you mentioned a new notebook, and asked for suggestions how you might find a use for it.

I suggested an accident book, sadly this could form the first entry in it.

What a good idea, Calendargirl.

The bag of frozen peas is a good idea too Flyinghandbag, and if you feel peckish they are rather nice to eat frozen.

I'm quite good at falling over too so I never wear high heels now. I can fall over my own feet.

It could be worse if it's just the rail that is broken.
