They say a picture paints a thousand words and there have been some lovely photos on GN recently. I am a visual person and, especially at this time, pictures cheer me up. Autumn scenes, people's gardens, cake baking, craftwork, pets, clothes we fancy buying etc. Even stock images of Boris, royalty etc.
What is the general feeling? Are they superfluous or do they add another dimension? Are we "allowed" to just drop them into a non photographic thread?

Sadly not my puppy but a photo of my new “granddog”! She’s looks very cute, heavens knows how long it will be before I get to see her!

Same colouring as ours grannyqueenie.

One of my granddaughters sent me this yesterday and wrote....this reminds me of you grandma. ?

My son took this, early morning last week, from his building site in north Cornwall. The view is usually trees and hills. That's mist, not sea.

Oopsminty - your little dog has a very similar face to mine - same expression - mine is a jack russell crossed with a border terrier. So jack russell shape but border terrier colouring.
Both definitely gorgeous, eh? smile

Wow MellowYellow, even a photo of a building site tells its own story! The chopped wood trusses in the foreground were once the trees growing in the background, (poetically speaking)!
Lovely ethereal mist.

It's nearly 3 years since my lovely little Wiser was put to sleep at 18 years old.
Here she is, looking beautiful.

Ellianne Mon 09-Nov-20 10:47:24

Aw Minimoon what a good age, bless her.

A bridge over the Chesterfield Canal. No wonder they call them narrowboats.

grannyqueenie Mon 09-Nov-20 18:32:14

What a lovely message farview from your granddaughter.
That’s the very reason I’ve never fancied a canal holiday greyduster!
Very misty in this neck of the woods yet again. The bridge where I live, I have never seen anyone fishing there before.

grannyqueenie Mon 09-Nov-20 18:33:20

So, where did the photos go? Here they are!

Ellianne Mon 09-Nov-20 18:40:55

I've been having problems posting photos today on GN too grannyqueenie. I press once added, but it doesn't always happen?
Misty photos are nice.

grannyqueenie Mon 09-Nov-20 19:10:08

Glad it’s not just me!
Intriguing photo, it took me a minute to work it out farview!

Mary62 Mon 09-Nov-20 19:18:26

Grandmafrench Mon 09-Nov-20 20:30:57

Blimey....hold on tight to that word, Jax, GLAMPING !?
Or, nothing that a little light dusting won't fix grin

farview Mon 09-Nov-20 20:34:07

Oh jaxjacky...think of the end result...follow up photos please ?

lemongrove Mon 09-Nov-20 21:13:14

I like your dog MiniMoon she looks a lot like Sykes in Midsummer Murders.?

Farview do you have fairy wings?

lemongrove Mon 09-Nov-20 21:15:12

I think Cockerpoos are the most in fashion dog of the moment, where I live there are three close by, and a friend has just bought one, all golden in colour.

lemongrove Mon 09-Nov-20 21:15:54

Was going to add, all mega cute like little teddy bears.

Ellianne Mon 09-Nov-20 21:20:20

A Cockerpoo puppy is currently around £3,000.

Scribbles Mon 09-Nov-20 21:33:16
