Busy day tomorrow! Reading group Zoom meeting at 10.30, just a brief visit as I have hair appointment at 11.30 and at 1.30 I’m off to meet the manager of the venue where my WI meets to see if the changes he has made are going to suit us. Hopefully there will be a chance for an outside drink at the venue with friends after our meeting. Then I need to go to the tip on the way home to take several bin bags of rubbish from my tidy up of my craft room today before finally a meeting of a WI Gin Club at 7.30!

It rather a lot to fit in but I triple booked myself in the morning without realising and could not rearrange anything. Oh, and I need to phone my GP to get an appointment later this week to discuss my recent blood pressure monitoring.

Luckily most of my day will be easy to keep socially distanced, only the hairdressers and lunchtime meeting at the WI venue are actually with other people. It’s not the time to go mad, vaccinated or not.

Good luck with the tip teacheranne, one hour I was in the queue yesterday and when I finally got to the stage of emptying the car it was snowing ?

Getting my second jab not going to busy shops .

Enjoying my newly groomed hair, that won’t be constantly in my eyes as we walk along by the estuary.
Waiting for the arrival of my GHIC card, for whenever we’re allowed away.

I’ll be doing nothing different, a walk, gardening, cooking, reading or chores. No hairdressers or shopping for me thanks.

Calendargirl Sun 11-Apr-21 14:03:27

Same as last Monday I should think. The washing, preparing a meal, popping to local shops which have been open all the time, i.e. butchers, bakers.

No desire to go to other big shops. Hair trim in a few days, no rush, it’s looked a mess for ages.

Will be going for a swim on Tuesday though.

Painting the bathroom ceiling and maybe the woodwork in the small bedroom

Gingster Sun 11-Apr-21 14:06:23

I will be at my cottage by the sea after 6 months of not being able to travel there.

Amberone Sun 11-Apr-21 14:20:50

Painting walls. A bit of gardening if it stays dry. Going out can wait a week or two, no great rush.

Katyj Sun 11-Apr-21 16:17:25

I’ll be in work all day ?

Kim19 Sun 11-Apr-21 16:21:51

Down at the disposal yard depositing much greenery.

rafichagran Sun 11-Apr-21 16:36:18

I will be going to work after annual leave.

annodomini Sun 11-Apr-21 17:02:45

I'll be the mother of a 50-year-old! DS1, birthday on Tuesday.
If it's a good day I might have a stroll around a garden centre.

foxie48 Sun 11-Apr-21 18:23:29

More of the usual for me. Walk the dog, exercise the horse, who is coming back into work after an injury so it's very exciting (but not in a good way!) and probably a bit of gardening if it's not too cold. I've got some sad and difficult things going on in my life ATM so I am glad to be busy.

Visiting the flooring shop to choose flooring for the hall.

In 24 hours I will be peering in the mirror at my newly coloured and cut hair!

But also waiting to hear if the attempt to turn DiL's baby has been successful, and if not, what the outcome will be, she had such a dreadful time with her first.
