Good Morning Monday

Morning Mick, morning All from a clear if chilly corner of Somerset.

A cold wind encouraged a faster than planned walk around a lake yesterday, still enjoyable it certainly blew cobwebs away.

A foray into the loft for me is first on the list today. Curtain and sofa cover changing to follow for Mr C. Me? I’ll be in a supporting (supervisory!) role then back to the loft before faffing about with some admin while Mr C changes the bed. Yes, I do know how lucky I am.

Good morning everyone from south Manchester where the sun’s up already. Another gorgeous day forecast and it’s warm too by the looks. No breeze anyway.

I need to change the duvet later to the summer one. It’s too heavy and we keep pushing it away then grabbing it back over during the night! Himself is still snuggled under the winter one so I’ve had to make my own tea this morning ha!

We are off to the Trafford Centre again before lunch. It’s only up the road. We could walk it in half an hour if we were feeling energetic! I’ve seen some black sandals I like on line from John Lewis and I want to buy a pair of linen trousers. I’ve decided to change my mindset (and my wardrobe) and go once a week (Monday is the quietest day and it was pleasant last Monday), buy one or two things and home - ie go there regularly but only for a mini-visit. As you can tell, I don’t do mooching.

Good morning all from north Surrey. Overcast here and feeling cold.
Very busy weekend at work but rewarding and enjoyable.
Safe journey this morning brook, enjoy your long awaited family time.
Early visit to the gym and then a dog walk. Said dog disgraced himself yesterday when he tried to mount another dog who was being walked on lead, very embarrassing as he was persistent! He is 2 this week and it is almost as though a switch has been turned on in his change of behaviour. Thankfully we have him booked in for “the snip” on 4th May.
DH is off walking and pub lunch with his friends, a regular Monday meet up for him.
Delivery due at lunchtime so will find jobs to keep me occupied whilst I wait in. DD says she will pop in too, it will be nice to have a catch up with her with no interruptions.
Wishing all a pleasant day and hoping that we may see some rain for our farmers, allotments and gardens.

Oh joys, our pub gardens are open today so we’re trotting off to Conwy and sitting out with a decent bottle at our little wine shop’s newly refurbished courtyard ??

I’m determined to support the little people who’ve struggled through the winter and enjoy myself into the bargain!

Good Morning everyone from Severnside. Dry and sunny and another nice day forecast. Rain possible on Wednesday.

I got a few pottering jobs done yesterday and mostly read my book outside. I tried out my new Karcher window cleaner on the patio doors and found it much easier to do.

I will change the curtains today to summer light ones and run a few errands.

Good morning from a grey cool E Kent. Yes, we badly need rain but not likely to have any for the next three weeks or so. Already the soil is very dry.
Housework and not much else today.
DH was feeling under the weather from his Pfizer vaxx2, but being him fights it then feels worse. I’ve stopped suggesting that he should take it easy.
