How old were you when you had your ears pierced?

Additional pairs (piercings) when I was 15 - never removed them!

Never. I have a birthmark on the back of my lobe which I was told would bleed profusely if pierced.

My 30th birthday present to myself. Parents didn’t allow me as a youngster and then various boyfriends then husband didn’t like pierced ears. Silly thing is hardly wear earrings now.

30, same day as had a coil fitted. Husband said “For God’s sake don’t get near a magnet!”

Never had mine done, my girls were allowed once they were teens. I was a very surprised when my sons daughter’s were pierced at 6 mths, it’s a custom where Mums from but not my child so I kept it zipped.

I haven’t. I don’t like needles!

My friend's mum did them when I was 13 with darning needle! Did not even ask mums permission horrendous when I think about it now.

I`ve never had them pierced. Nothing against needles, just don`t fancy having holes in me ears!

About 30 I think. Didn't tell my Mum who thought pierced ears were common. She didn't notice for years. DH encouraged me to bite the bullet. Love wearing earrings .

About 13. I wasn't allowed but did it against my Mum's wishes. She thought it was common too.

When I got caught wearing my earrings to school my teacher called me a tart and a gypsy!

I was 17. My mother was horrified and told me I looked like a costermonger. My father, on the other hand, suggested he might buy some earrings for my approaching birthday.

I love earrings and have dozens of pairs. I first had my ears pierced at 16 and then again in my 30s. I wouldn’t leave the house without wearing a pair of earrings

I was about 40. They were done by a fellow teacher in the staff room at lunch time. A bit of peer pressure, should have done it years ago.
