Just seen Harry has written a tell it all book, well with a ghost writer anyway. What on earth is left to say? From what I understand it’s his life from his viewpoint along with lessons for us all. I’m beginning to feel sorry for the rest of the RF. where is it going to end.

I am saddened by this latest attempt by Harry to @Look at me! me! me!'. Like everyone, I was saddened by the footage of the two boys following their Mother's coffin, but for someone who is very keen to share his struggles with his mental health, he has very little thought or consideration for the feelings or mental health of his family, namely his brother, father and grandmother. Charles must, like any other parent in this position, wonder where he went wrong, what he should have/should not have done. The breakdown of any family is sad, as many on here will testify, but to do it in public, feeding the voracious appetite of gossip columns as you do it, is a step too far for me.

What’s the book called?

My Booky Wook?

They are both a disgrace and should be stripped of their titles. Perhaps the next thing will be she announces her presidential bid. I suppose he can’t unless he has US citizenship (though perhaps he’s got that on the quiet).
At least they won’t be coming here any time soon because the US’s current travel restrictions won’t allow them back in.
I refuse to sully my iPad by using their names.

So, same as Russell Brand’s book? Is the question mark part of the title?

merlotgran Tue 20-Jul-21 12:49:37

It was a joke, Blossoming - hence the question mark.

For a young man who is always concerned about other people's mental health, he takes very little notice of the wellbeing of his own family.

He has done an incredible amount of good in his life, his stint in the armed forces, the Invictus games, his continued interest in the works his mother was involved in etc. It is so sad to see him resort to "celebrity" tell-all books.

And if Harry is Dr Faustus (the man who sold his soul to the devil) who is Mephistopheles (who enabled Faustus to sell his soul to the devil) ?

Maybe his parents who did not behave with dignity at all. If you behave badly, you can expect your children to tell the world. What goes around comes around.

Mollygo Tue 20-Jul-21 14:00:50

If you (in your child’s opinion) behave badly, you can expect your children to tell the world.
Since H&M have been/are behaving badly, their children could have an income for life with their own ‘tell all’ interviews and books.

Smileless2012 Tue 20-Jul-21 14:02:50

H & M will have to hope then that their children don't go for the 'tell all' approach when they're old enough icanhandthemback.

Sometimes, what goes around doesn't come around and you don't always reap what so sew. I hope H & M do though.

When in America do as the Americans do? I suppose he wanted something to do.

Well he has certainly perfected the American style of dressing with his shirts and bare feet.
I wonder whether the photo on the front cover of the book will be of him in army uniform or in bermudas with rips in them?

25Avalon - you’ve just given Harry the title -
The Worm’s Tale.

You can tell he’s a chip off the old block, as his dad was always into gardening.

If Harry’s parent’s caused him to behave in this way, why is William not behaving in this way?
My own suggestion for the role of Mephistopheles would be Meghan! She has enabled Harry to behave in this way.

Ellianne Tue 20-Jul-21 17:16:02

I thought you meant Mr. Mistoffelees, T S Elliot's cat! grin
How does it go?
"he's always deceiving you into believing" and something about being crafty and cunning.
Suits Meghan rather well, and still on the theme of a fantastical story book.

maddyone Tue 20-Jul-21 17:20:35

So she can be Mephistopheles and Mr Mistoffelees, both parts would suit her well. Anyway, I think Mr Mistoffelees was modelled on Mephistopheles myself.

Ellianne Tue 20-Jul-21 17:23:11

Yes, indeed, miaow. A very dark character!

Ellianne Tue 20-Jul-21 17:28:58

Better not be catty, though this is the humourous thread. grin

Please no more. Harry was so well liked prior to his marriage. Now it is like hero to zero.

Definition of harry in dictionary.com

Verb: to harass, annoy, or prove a nuisance to by or as if by repeated attacks

Seems apt!

We have nothing to go on Millie just a book announcement with some drivel. It's a bit of fun here. The other thread has a more serious discussion going with no jokes.

Ellianne Tue 20-Jul-21 18:01:38

Juliet, also if you do a search for Harry, the book, you get pages and pages of entries about Harry Potter. I don't think in a million years Harry's book will ever knock that off the top slot.

Infinity2 Tue 20-Jul-21 19:04:37

Ellianne - that photograph !! Didn’t realise Meghan was a twin.

Deedaa Tue 20-Jul-21 19:13:14

How long has Harry been married? 3 or 4 years? And he has a 2 year old and a baby. So now he's going to tell us all about being a husband and father. I think the update in 10 years time might e interesting.
