I have noticed that since the night has started to draw in that by 9.30ish i can hardly keep my eyes open and usually i am watching something interesting on TV and knitting. So i welcome the 10pm news as i then switch off and go to bed and read my latest library book for about 15mins before snuggling down for the night. Its usually about 10.30pm. I used to staty up at least till 11pm if not later but dont seem to be able to now. Is this another sign of aging!!!???

I’m a night owl. In bed around 1 to 2am after watching tv. I’ve always been a late riser apart from when working. I live on my own and retired so surface between 11 to midday blush

Now I’m in my late 60s I thought I might become like all pensioners and get up early and go to bed early - not happened yet.

I’m still up now on my iPad then I’ll read when I get to bed. I love this time when H is in bed and I can suit myself!

Don't like to go to bed before 11.30pm - I think it stems from being the youngest of 3 children, I was always sent to bed before my siblings and I so resented it! So I love to stay up late and revel in being the last one to retire! I get up about 6.30am (dog gets me up), so I get 7 hours sleep, which is plenty for me.

Shortly, will take a cup of tea with me and read for a couple of hours.

I usually go to bed at about 10.30, as I'm recovering from Covid (on a ventilator for 2 weeks in July) and a stroke, so I get tired earlier than I used to. The last 2 nights, though, we've been out and met friends at the bub, so I didn't get to bed until gone midnight.

I just love my bedroom and as soon as I have eaten my evening meal (about 6.30pm) I will start locking up and make sure my cat Oliver is indoors.
Now that I am on my own I can get comfy and watch TV in comfort there is no need to have the lounge lights & TV on and waste energy when I can snuggle down and relax in my lovely bedroom.
I switch lights off about 10pm and wake up about 6ish.

It doesn't matter what time I go to bed, I don't go to sleep until the hot flushes stop!

Usually it's about 10:30 - 11pm.

I used to stay up late but am trying to improve it now as I am always tired. I have managed to get it down to being in bed before 11pm. I still play scrabble on my phone and then read until midnight though.

I like to be in bed as soon as the news at 10 comes on. I sometimes read or more often than not I go straight to sleep and wake up at 6. Ive always needed lots of sleep.

Do you watch News in bed then, TV in bedroom?

Personally, I am a firm believer in NO TV, screens, phone, etc, in bedroom and body and mind knowing time is to sleep when I hit the pillow. (not a criticism of course).
