I’d love to have looked like Joan Collins in her younger days. Although at nearly 90
she still looks fantastic!

A young Kate Bush.
I get told I resemble Jane MacDonald, don’t mind as she’s years younger! (Would prefer Sophia Loren, but there you go..) Also Ingrid Bergman, Vivien Leigh and some French actresses like Juliette Binoche.
Sophia Loren has often said our beauty comes from within. Er no Soph, not in your case…

I wanted to look like Jean Shrimpton when I was young. Now I’m old I’d love to look like Joanna Lumley.

When I was in my teens I was told I looked like Chrissie Shrimpton. So I suppose I’d like to look like me in my teens ?

I can still remember Chrissie Shrimpton being on Juke Box Jury. I think they played Get Offa My Cloud and she said ‘I hope they don’t mean me’. I’ve absolutely no idea why that stuck in my mind when very few other things from that time did.

Juliette Binoche has a lovely face, full of character. I wouldn't mind looking like Carole the weather lady, natural, kind and a lovely smile.

When young I was often told I looked like Jaclyn Smith from Charlie's Angels. I would have preferred to look like Farrah Fawcett Major. Totally wrong colouring for that though.

I don't really want to look like anyone famous now. However, Zendaya has to be the most beautiful woman on earth. In my opinion.

As a 14 year old I adored Hayley Mills (she was four years older than me so I wanted to be like her). Later on I was told I looked like Sharon of Please Sir and more recently Kate Garraway (possibly) and Joanna Lumley (I can't see it myself). I'm quite happy looking like me but would prefer a few minor alterations!

Grace Kelly please!

Just seen the labour MP Lisa Nandy on the TV, a natural beauty with seemingly no make up. The low maintenance, healthy, clear skin look would work for me.

Cindy Crawford please!

Yasmin Le Bon - Grace Kelly and that dark haired girl from friends were/are beautiful.

As a teenager I hated being white and blonde, used to read a lot of books about Native Americans. Loved the idea of blue/ black hair.
Saw Buffy Sainte Marie in a concert in London in 2012. She was the age then that I am now, such a bundle of energy, stamina and a fantastic voice to go with it, wow, what more could I want.

The young Olivia Hussey definitely. (So pleased that I spotted the predictive text there that had changed Hussey to Gusset!)
Otherwise, a younger me with an added six inches and minus 2 stone.
Or Vivien Leigh, but without all her hangups.

I would love to look like Christie Brinkley before she had surgery !!

I think a lot of you are taking the piss. I used to want to look like Julie Christie but now at 80 I am finally happy with my looks and figure.
Weird

Christine Lagarde. She always looks so stylish, which I'm not.

Back in the 60s I wanted to look like Marianne Faithful. Or maybe Mary Hopkin.

Gossamerbeynon1945 Sun 17-Oct-21 11:05:59

When I was young, I looked like Amanda Barrie apparently.

Humbertbear Sun 17-Oct-21 11:06:08

I’d like Claudia Winklemans hair and Helena Bonham Carter’s wardrobe

GrammarGrandma Sun 17-Oct-21 11:06:52

Charlotte Gainsbourg. Or Angela Basset.

I like looking like me. When younger, I was told by my mother that my older sister was “the pretty one” and that whilst I wasn’t pretty, there was “something attractive” about me. I’m nearly 60 now and as a thirty something started to look more like my dad’s side (up to that point I was the image of mum). I’ve grown into my looks and when I look in the mirror now, I see my dad’s smile. He was very good looking, in a Rock Hudson kind of way ?

I get told I look like Meryl Streep when she was younger and now, Kate Winslet so, I’ll take that! I still have great skin and hair. Not boasting, it’s genetic.

I also have a long body and short legs so hey! Can’t have everything ?

henetha Sun 17-Oct-21 11:13:48

I used to long to look like Audrey Hepburn when I was younger. Now I'd be happy to look like Carey Mulligan.
She's so pretty.

JdotJ Sun 17-Oct-21 11:28:37

I've never wanted to look like anyone else, famous or not, but I do wish I had thicker, straighter hair

harrysgran Sun 17-Oct-21 11:30:00

When I was younger I was told I resembled Delia Smith sadly that's where it ended as I'm no cook . If I could look like anyone it would be Doris Day blonde glamorous and a twinkle in her eyes .

Annaram1 Sun 17-Oct-21 11:39:08

I used to be told I looked like Julie Christie. I loved that! But at the time I wanted to look like Audrey Hepburn. I used to copy her eyebrows. Now I'd settle for the beautiful and glamourous Joanna Lumley.
