Why do poster keep referring to her as Jeffre when her name is Giuffre

Because my spelling is absolutely dreadful and getting worse as I get older.

and because I may have started that with my mistake which was carried on. Apologies. Won't happen again Miss, promise.

Look at the infamous phot of Prince Andrew and Giuffre with Maxwell in the background the thought crossed my mind that they were all smiling for the camera but why would they agree to have the photo taken? And who took it? All very odd.

She is saying no more than the conspiracy theorists have been saying since Epstein’s death, no one has yet been prepared to sue.

I’ve never pointed out a spelling mistake as I find it rude.
But in this case it was being put up as a completely different name.
You can’t pronounce Jeffre as Juffay which is how her name is pronounced.

There is a lot of conjecture on here about a case which is sub judice.

this case is not before the british courts, so the sub judice rule does not apply.
and america does not have the same legal restrictions.
they hold freedom of speech so high, it often trumps common sense or decency.

No way will Maxwell EVER get a fair trial in the US - they allow their media to spout all kinds of nonsense and allegations in the run up to the "trial", unlike the UK. Epstein supposedly committed suicide (or was murdered) so she will be hung out to dry for everything he supposedly did (as well as anything she MAY have done) - just like any other case where the woman is the sole remaining defendent. Those of you who think she is guilty as sin - I'd love to know where you get your information from, she has been found guilty of NOTHING so far. The US media stories are making her out to be worse than Epstein and the prime driver of the abuse - this is why we do not allow media speculation in the UK for ongoing criminal trials. I have no idea what she did, or didn't do, but the rush to judgement is distasteful given all there is to go on is tabloid witch hunts and women seeking a large payout. Real evidence of guilt? I am not holding my breath....

saetana Judge Nathan has ruled that Maxwell will be tried on the charges brought against her AND NOTHING ELSE. Judge Nathan made it very clear that she will tolerate no unnecessary referral to the Epstein case, but that Maxwell will be tried on charges of procurement, and sex trafficking.

Jusge Nathan also refused the defendant’s request that the accusers should not be referred to as victims or where appropriate minors. Both terms are deemed appropriate by judge Nathan.

The victims will also be allowed to remain anonymous throughout the trial.

The defence lawyers were also warned that they cannot suggest that this trial has only come about because Epstein’s trial never took place. This trial stands alone.

No plea offer has been made by the prosecutors to Maxwell.

Judge Nathan has warned the defence lawyers to stop using the media to try to influence the jury.

The jury will not be sequestered, but will only be identified by a number.

I also think that Maxwell’s claim of ill treatment in prison, which has only recently been claimed, is more to do with jury nobbling than fact.

Innocent or guilty all prisons should treat its inmates with respect, prison conditions differ across states because of their legal system and “beliefs” I lived on the West Coast in California, a very different lifestyle to living in the South. Everyone deserves a “fair” trial but sadly the richer you are the better lawyer and legal team you will have, look at OJ. Whether this lady is guilty or not, she did have a very close relationship with Epstein and I just find it very hard to believe she didn’t know what was going on. Yes, she’s having an awful time currently, nothing compared to the lives of many girls Epstein ruined.

I am curious and in no way mitigating what Epstein did but where the the abused parents when they were being flown out of the country? It appears from what I have read they never questioned where their children were disappearing to?

With regards to your question above, sad to say it, but you’d be shocked and horrified to know how many “children” (under 18) are estranged from their parents in both the UK and the USA, sofa suffering, living with friends, in the care system, many on the streets, maybe you’ve lived a sheltered life, but many many children have the most appalling and abusive lives and a just ripe for the taking

People who either fail to understand, or wilfully refuse to accept the reality of child sexual exploitation and grooming continue to post their ill informed/plain wrong ideas

Ms Maxwell said that she had been fed 'rotten food'. It transpires that she was given an apple that contained a maggot.

Maxwell is accused of procurement and sex trafficking, if convicted she will probably serve 5 yrs or so in prison, she is not a high profile criminal facing life in prison that might intimidate witnesses or jurors.
Nor are the “victims” likely to get compensation because most of her resources are going to be paid to her lawyers. With dozens of witnesses that have nothing to gain testifying against her make it very difficult to convince a jury to acquit her
