All good pals and
Jolly good company.

Grandmabatty Sun 19-Jun-22 13:00:05

Soop lots of tlc for you. Take things easy. ?

Blossoming Sun 19-Jun-22 13:06:44

That sounds very worrying soop. Do you have any problems with your blood pressure? I check mine every week at home and it’s checked at the surgery every 6 months.

kittylester Sun 19-Jun-22 13:15:16

Finding the Italian tennis player very dishy could easy have caused a funny turn at your age soop.

Seriously, so glad you intend to talk to the gp. We need you fit and well to keep the kitchen in order.

brook2704 Sun 19-Jun-22 13:26:56

Take care soop hopefully the GP can check it out and put your mind at rest, good idea to take it easy today ?

Its cold and grey here in Inverness, I put the heating on earlier. If anyone knows where the sun has gone to please let me know! DD2 has been round with another load of washing - I’m counting the days now until her washer is fixed. We had a chat, well she had a moan really and I listened and now I’m off out into the garden to get the lawn mowed.

Hope things aren’t too painful blossoming and any bruises fade fast

Sounds like you’re making good progress muse it must be good to see everything gradually being completed - what a sense of achievement it must be too, well done

brook2704 Sun 19-Jun-22 13:27:54

kitty thats a thought! ?

Pittcity Sun 19-Jun-22 14:32:31

Berretini is certainly causing me some strange feelings at the mo!! wink

GrannyGravy13 Sun 19-Jun-22 14:44:34

soop hope you are feeling better, rest please ?

Bellanonna Sun 19-Jun-22 15:02:04

soop, yes do please talk to the GP. That must have been frightening for you. Thank goodness Mr Soop heard you from his lofty position. Please rest and look after yourself.

SueDonim Sun 19-Jun-22 15:34:42

You must get that checked out. Soop. What a horrible fright you and Mr Soop must have had. flowers

A quiet day here, weather not much cop so I’ve been doing things in the flat. How we manage to produce so much rubbish from two rooms and a tiny kitchen and shower room, I do not know!

My dd I think is on the mend now. She managed to sleep all night and has showered so that’s an improvement. She needs to get back to eating little and often, to build herself up.

I’m thinking of my friend whose husband died suddenly three weeks ago. They returned to the UK last night and I’m sure today being Father’s Day will be bittersweet for them.

In general terms, I’m not sure how much contact to make with them. I’ve messaged several times and always had a reply but I don’t want to be a nuisance by bothering them if they want to be left alone. It’s really hard to know what the right thing to do is, at times. sad

soop Sun 19-Jun-22 15:54:34

Thank you for all your kind words. I shall talk to the GP tomorrow.

Berettinni won. He is, as I said, "dishy". What's more, he appears to have a natural charm. Rather like Rafa.

Sunny afternoon. Mr S is cutting the grass. I shall make him a brew and join him on the garden bench. Until we meet again tomorrow, bless you all. smile moon

Galen Sun 19-Jun-22 19:38:03

soop make sure you do see your GP.
If you don’t, you and I wish be having words

Blossoming Sun 19-Jun-22 19:46:38

Good evening lovely Kitcheners. I have had a very lazy Sunday, I fell asleep in a chair this afternoon and Mr. B woke me up after a few hours with a cup of coffee.

Pleased your DD is on the mend SueDonim. I think your friend will appreciate low key contact at the moment, I’m sure it will be a comfort to know that you are thinking of her. You are a very considerate friend.

Have a lovely evening all, TOYA

Doodle Sun 19-Jun-22 20:01:06

Soop do as you’re told. Please be careful.
Galen lovely to hear from you. How are you getting on? Are you still cruising?
Hope all had a good weekend. ?

Nannytopsy Sun 19-Jun-22 20:24:28

Evening! A busy day in the garden - we are so slow these days, which makes me feel old. Will a new knee let me bend over again? ( when ever that happens?)
I have picked lots of small strawberries which should be good for jam. And a few big ones which will make Eton mess!
DH is making curry bless him while I start the last sleeve of a baby cardigan. It’s part of the ever expanding to do list.
Hope everyone has a great evening.

Grannmarie Sun 19-Jun-22 22:14:16

Good evening, lovely Kitchen people!

Blossoming ?, I hope you are okay after your fall. What a shock to the system, take care and let your lovely Mr B. look after you.

Soop, so sorry to hear about your 'turn', make sure to contact your GP tomorrow. I hope you get a good night's sleep.

SueD, glad to hear that your DD is feeling a wee bit better.

Thanks again to everyone for all your kind wishes for DH. Much appreciated. ?

I'm happy to report some more improvement for DH. They have reduced his oxygen today, and he was alert enough to enjoy a Father's Day visit from DS3, although he is still bedbound and tires very easily. Such a relief, we're so thankful. ??
When I visited this evening, I managed to get him sitting up comfortably to enjoy a walnut whip, his favourite. Small pleasures. I'm a dab hand with the remote control for the bed now!

TOYA, ? NNGB.

Grandmadinosaur Sun 19-Jun-22 22:27:55

That is good news Grannmarie and glad he enjoyed his walnut whip! I hope he continues to make good progress.

Take care soop I hope you can get to see or speak to a GP.

We’ve had a lovely day with the family -lunch out and then walking home GS said I’m going to grandmas so he did for an hour and we played tiddlywinks.

NNGB
