Keeping up appearances - or not!

Now that I live alone I am frequently to be found still in my pj’s at 11 or later having read the paper online, dealt with emails, Facebook, GN and WhatsApp. And sometimes the current book. I may have put a load through the machine or hung up what was washed overnight unobserved as nobody can see into my garden.
Judging by the Good Morning thread though, many others have put in a day’s work before I am even vertical.
However I am encouraged by the occasional sighting of my neighbour -at least while my hornbeam hedge was bare - in her conservatory at the same time, still in her dressing gown.
#sluttygran or is it OK to do what I want when I want and nobody’s business but my own?

I like this post! I am like you, I can still be in my dressing gown until I am due to go out later in the day. My sister thinks this is disgusting. She wakes every morning at 7am and showers and dresses immediately. When she stays with me I find it really annoying that when I get up she is already on the sofa ready to go out. If I stay at her house I have to shower and dress immediately or get disapproving looks over breakfast! Why can't we just accept that everyone is different?
