My Dad enjoyed his weekly flutter on the national lottery and had lots of modest wins on his weekly ticket. Over the course of a month he’d at least recoup the cost of his tickets and often had 4 winning numbers.
When I was sitting with him in his final days he asked me to keep his numbers going as he was sure the jackpot was coming .
That was 10 years ago and I’m afraid Dad’s lucky numbers died with him. I rarely win anything more than a free ticket for 2 numbers. I can’t stop myself from buying his ticket as I wouldn’t have the will power not to glance at the winning numbers.
