Good Morning Everyone ,
Its light but grey sky's and raining here in brackley this morning.
Had letters as regards my glaucoma , I am supposed to take two lots of eye drops ,one twice a day in both eyes the other at night in both eyes I think I use it scarlessly with the amount of ml per bottle , think I need a double supply of eye drops each 28 days for it to work , and that on top of recovering with bowel cancer .
Today usual day trip to Bicester , hopefully see friends and also have a coffee .
Take Care,
Mick

Sounds like a perfect birthday, Marydoll, and I hope it is a happy one complete with bargains. Grey and chilly this morning, with a supermarket shop and a dental inspection the highlights of the day, so I had better get my list made. I get so bored (and increasingly lazy) about what to eat as cooking for one is of no interest and I am in danger of eating too much of the wrong sort of thing because it’s easy. Need an injection of will power and imagination!

Good morning from soggy Kent! I lurk here most days as I like to catch up on Marydoll - I have known her from our school days - over 50 years. I couldn’t let her birthday go past. Happy birthday dearest old pal! Hope your break in St Andrew’s is extra special and you can have a great time. I woke up yday with a pain in my neck which eased over the day with ice packs and paracetamol. I’ve been awake today since 04:30 with it. Couldn’t get comfortable in bed, by 06:30 I was near to tears. Had some Cocodamol and now sitting with an ice pack and a cuppa. We have a builder in all this week tearing out our ensuite shower, enlarging it and replumbing. I can’t even go for a lie down. My usual response to any illness or pain is to sleep - fat chance when he’s drilling and banging away! Hopefully after another lot of painkillers I will have some relief. I am due at our surgery for a blood test tomorrow, maybe if I look as bad as I feel with the neck pain, they will help. As Marydoll would say ‘Aye, right’! Have a good day all!

Morning from Giffnock, grey and damp but I’m off to meet baubles this morning so the weather can just get on with being miserable!

Happy birthday Marydoll, St Andrew’s a perfect place to spend it but watch for the seagulls if you do have an ice cream!
It’s so nice to to have a few days by the sea, isn’t it?

That toddler’s group sounds horrific grandMattie but at least so far you’ve avoided being bitten! I hope you enjoy the children if not the noise.

Glad your cruise went well Ashcombe, and you were reasonably lucky with our Scottish weather.

Have the best day possible everyone, all this talk of holidays is making me restless!

Good morning Mick and all from a damp northwest coast.
Nice meal with DD and DS here last night, cooked by them and lots of chat.
DD has left for her holiday In Crete with childhood friends and DS will do a few jobs around the place.

Music club today, I’m in charge on the desk and have prepared my songs although I haven’t practised much…
Glad your cruise turned out well Ashcombe and keep up the good work healthwise Mick.
Hope you all have a good day🌺

Good morning Mick and all from showery Lancashire, currently 15°C.

MrB and I had a successful shopping trip yesterday, some comfortable and beautiful Italian leather chairs with matching footstools will be delivered In July. It was well worth the time spent researching and looking at other options before buying. I got plenty of ‘sitting to standing’ exercise!

I went for a walk later on, so many lovely flowers at the moment. I don’t know what the ones in this photo are, perhaps one of our Gransnet gardeners could enlighten me.

MrB has been to Lidl this morning, the traffic is horrendous due to roadworks. Fortunately we don’t need to go anywhere else.

Happy birthday Marydoll, your day sounds wonderful.

Have a good day all, whatever you’re doing 🌻

Has anyone tried WOW root cover up ? I've seen conflicting reviews for use on grey hair.If not I would appreciate any advice on root cover as getting my hair coloured every 3 weeks just isn't an option 😊Thanks on advance

Happy Birthday Marydoll. I love St Andrew’s although it is not exactly the warmest place at the best of times. Enjoy your day. Back from our RiverCruise but caught some bug will post more tomorrow.

Thanks Jax and GM. It’s part of the hedge surrounding the Marina building and it looks so pretty.

Even later from me. Still trying to catch up but wanted to pop in to wish Marydoll a very Happy Birthday for the rest of the day. 💐

And to you creativeness, Happy Birthday. 💐

We’re having lovely spring weather here in the Algarve, the late winter rain in February and March has made for a beautiful show of wildflowers which are still looking good. The temperatures have been steadily rising until today when there was a drop of six degrees with a biting wind as well. Caught a lot of people out.
